I've just got the update rejected by Apple because they don't want autorenewal subscriptions on the game. They said they are designed for periodical things, you know, like Tinder, Happn... Apparently online games (World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings, etc...) are not ok but paying to try to hook up through apps is considered fine and periodical enough to be allowed.

You are free to complain to them, and/or do like most will do, just use autorenewal in any of the other available platforms that you are using. I can't do much now that Apple not only decides what updates go through but also how you can spend your money. I know this will piss of lot of people like it did to me, but hey, it's not my policy and I can't push the update unless I obey.

On the positive side, the update is already out in all other platforms with some more fixes coming soon. It will be on Apple whenever, some time, some day. Enjoy it!

Update: someone from Apple said they will contact me. I hope they can state the obvious and don't defend dating apps vs multiplayer games as "periodical/subscription worthy".

same shit with google zup spent half a hour on google support trying to figure out whe my google play card wont allow my subscription when other platforms will .was going to use my google to buy paypal and subscribe that way but google wont allow google wallet in canada

dognamitt I added an option for you, click the shopping cart on the game, then instead of "instant access" pick the "one month" button. That won't use subscription but allow you to pay for only one month. Certain countries/cards do not allow subscriptions on google so that was added meanwhile.

Thanks it worked as i said talked with google as i was told there was a work around to buy paypal coin with my google wallet but google wallet isn't available in Canada so they wouldn't help me ty
