Well then, I guess I better put my goggles and uniform back in the closet and find a self help book that best describes the inconsistency of the interpretation of the people/personas playing a game and games.

This has always been just a game, but ask yourself a few questions.

How many hours have you spent of your real time Just trying to disrupt others playing a game?
How many days?
How many months?

Now what did you prove? That you are so caught up in what others do that you became a persona of your creating.

I have a life, real by the way. I spend zero hours in wc, and just enough to monitor a thread. Amazes me that some would waste so much time to be an ass over a game. So much time to point out the obvious. Pretty sure your targets realize it's just a game. Still though, you guys go so far beyond any realm of reality to execute such planned attempts of mayhem over a game and think no one is laughing at you.

It's called mockery. It is intended for amusement. The joke may or may not be any good but If you don't find it amusing you are probably the butt of someone else's joke and odds are good that your aloof I'm-above-it-all, my-squad-is-bigger-than-yours and I-have-a-real-life-yet-I-am-responding-to-this kind of reaction is probably the punchline.
