Tango56 suddenly received 20+ million points through computer glitch. I would hope he will let everyone know that and set the record straight. A week ago, he was #7 or so. There's no way even a good pilot like Tango scores that many points in a week! Zuperman just has to fix it. In the meantime, I don't think this is Tango's fault. He is just responsible for speaking up.

Cheating is cheating ..end of. He may not have cheated to get the "points" but he is certainly cheating "if" he is claiming to have gotten them legitimately . Still I suppose honour matters not to some.

Hey Dunc we know the truth , there are some here who clearly would like to start trouble by honouring a cheat . I guess this is not the first time we have seen this person jump the que by what he now realises is a glitch that he can take advantage of . I can see by some posts on another thread and this one also that there are those that want to show their disrespect for BStrachan who has worked hard to be leader and top spot holder in this game . An old saying is " there is no honour among thieves " .

Just setting the record straight. I have not monitored world chat, but I have not seen anything from Tango bragging about hitting moral or being #1. So far any shots at him are based solely on people attributing behaviors that nobody has actually observed. So calm yourselves. Tango rarely posts. If it's a glitch it will get sorted. Anyone ever stop to think maybe the points were earned and the glitch was a delayed award of the points? Not impossible. Don't make the evidence fit the desired crime. Let the evidence be the evidence.

I mention that because I find it very strange that people would spend umpteen hours a day playing this game, but whatever floats your boat I guess. Kind of, Dunc. There was also an inference that Tango was somehow aware of the mistake and cheating by not outting himself on the forum.

Yet here you are with accusations in a game with so many flaws that it's easier to throw some hint of cheat over error coded in the game.

Dunc did attribute the issue to a glitch,but others have described it as cheating (without knowing the whole story), and questioned Tangos "honor". If he had come on the forum and started this post himself, then I could possibly understand the backlash. I just did a search for him on the forum and found nothing. Is he using a name that differs from his game name? Is he even a forum member? I would think that people should first know the answer to at least one of those questions before saying that he should post an apology. It seems that he let zup know what was going on.Should he really be required to join the forum to satisfy a few people(that do ifact seem a bit upset)? As for those who have posted a congratulations on this thread, some may see them as trolls. I happen to think that maybe they are just people who don't check the rankings every five minutes to know eveybodys rank by heart. I can't blame someone for congratulating another player when they achieve the #1 spot. Maybe they don't keep up with things as much as some, but still want to be positive and supportive of fellow pilots.

Well Bingo you seem ill informed . A player who was in game with Tango noticed he had ranked up to 43 he asked Tango about what was happening . Tango immediately left the game . He came into another game to see Tango rank to 44 . He asked once again . Tango once again left with no explanation . Then , obviously he ranked in another game to 47 . One would question why he didn't cease playing and email Zup after the first time or explain why he was proceeding to rank up in game . As for the planes when they first came to Dunc and my notice there was no Red writing saying they were unavailable . I proceeded to buy them and was allowed . I even flew in missions with Zup and shot him down 3 times . Zup never once told me I shouldn't have the plane . I even commented to him that I loved the new planes . Now the unavailable sign has been placed under the planes . Until I read the post where Zup states they aren't supposed to be released yet I was unaware we shouldn't have them yet . I feel a cheat and a glitch would be justified had I knew I was in the wrong but in this case I was unaware as Dunc was also when we obtained them . I hope this clears the air for you somewhat . As for the new plane issue, glitch or no glitch. It doesn't matter much now. It is ok for you to label a guy as a cheat with out any explaination or knowledge of what was actually going on. Now when someone returns the same accusation with information that the plane were not available.

One could surely use that same logic that you applied towards Tango to the plane issue.
Seems fair enough. It's called a double standard.

I'll admit to being prickly to a fault when it comes to my personal honor. Honor starts with honesty - - - with one's self, then with others. I make it my business to tell the unvarnished truth at all times. When I make a mistake, I am not shy about owning up to it. I believe there are many here who feel the same, and I respect that when I see it. Unfortunately, there are also the toads, those who thrive on dissent and seek to foment unrest at every turn. These are the creatures of the night I called out in my earlier post to show me what they've got in the air.
