here is whats wrong with no chat for non subscribers zup crankyleo has questions and no one is there no more chat is dead .i really could have helped this guy out as i have many before not just me many many long term players have helped noobs out

yes ...I been in few games 2day..where noobs struggled...an I had to watch in frustration....as got no in game chat to help.......

watched 1 guy crash over an over ......

as lot now I always go out way to teach new players(I mite not be best) but try to help....

Can I just make a point on this...

now that u have to subscribe to use wc an in game chat ..may be damaging to new players

as they:-

1/ cant get to no people in game

2/ learn how to play better by chattin in game/wc with more expericended players

3/ an not bein able to chat...how can they join a squadrons

I no there still forum but many new players don't use forum

its just thought....but can u make it so u can still chat in game while flyin

but I cant answer..y I posted a lot times to people...that got no chat....

as I hate not bein able to answer...makes me feel so ignorant an rude 2wards others.....

I am the same as Viper , I have always subscribed . Even after I stopped playing Df 1 I left my subscription active up till Zup shut 1 down permanently. If someone is a genuinely serious player of this game then they will subscribe to enjoy the benefits . Most will access and work out the forum . By eliminating a lot of the problem that were on WC , Zup now has more time to spend improving the game and solving individual problems that some encounter . As a few have recently pointed out , you could see many people logged on but very few actually playing the game They were merely there to troll the WC and try to cause trouble for their own amusement. After all what is a sub fee of a couple of bucks . You can't buy much with $2.00 these days so for entertainment value it is well worth it . It also puts a stop to many who were banned for one reason or another and went straight out and opened a second account to continue to do exactly what they got banned for . I know some won't agree but in my opinion " well done Zup , a step in the right direction .

I struggle with subscribsion...lots pay out ...no credit card .....

so have to buy a minimum of £25 pre paid card....like to no more bout steam..as heard u can subscribe
for a year in 1 go ...that wud help.....

I ave spent fair bit here in early days subscribtion an credits to upgrade top tier planes that I earnt......


any help is welcome.......as for wc......I not really missed it

I would suggest you PM Cypher ,Fallen ,as he uses steam and may be helpful to you about how it works and the cost to install . If you have a savings account at a bank you may be able to get a card attached to that which works similar to a credit card for online payments .

yes I read ...cypher msg on this subject......and also sortin a credit card so all will ..work out ....

just I'm not 1 for cards ....electronic payments so on....

me too viper since subscription came out i subscribed and as you know i had my second account in wolf pack in df 1 and that was subscribed too my subscription wont work zup has told me a work around which i will try at the weekend i have ho problem supporting a great game or paying .i know some of the younger players want to be involved and their mom or dad wont let them subscribe to the game .in fact a few years ago when zup introduced subscription i paid for someone else to subscribe to help them though a hard time the person was disabled and on a fixed income from disability

Spot on, great points CC! I would see tons of players and empty games. Step in the right direction for certain.

that means, noobs and basically everyone can still chat. Unless you are over rank 8 and not subscribed, then it's blocked... and that should be few people, no most people.

So if this person didn't get a reply, options are: #1, nobody around, #2, people in game, #3 people around, higher than rank 8 but not subscribing, #4 people ignored him completely

pick your favorite, but definitely nothing is "wrong".

I am using steam and I am very satisfied with it. Far superior game play. Many different custom game settings, Access to a massive gaming community with support and tech resources. As well a fountain of other games if your interested. But all good things do have a price tag

The steam App is free to download.

Steam acts more like a game support system that launches different game Apps. It is a well maintained large multy functioning gamer utility. Housing its own servers, Forum threads, Groups, Beta testing opportunities, full online system support, you get the picture. Its comparable to Windows XBOX. DF Elite cost is $21 . I am not sure if this is a a full game purchase or more like leasing Steams platform to play on. I do no that you have a steam Wallet. You can pay by PayPal. { IF you have a bank account you can use paypal} Its as easy as you going to get for payment options. With your wallet credit you buy your monthly subscripts. Steam is a little complicated for a old bugger like myself but its far superior to windows
