Zup or anyone with advice,

I'm on laptop PC WIN 10 and good operating system. The game loads and asks if I want to use phone controls---on screen controls or tilt. It used to have option for keyboard--where did that go?

Fire, bomb and other buttons work just fine--but can no use PC arrow keys.

I've reloaded game and restarted computer countless times.

Hi Zup,

It's a Acer Laptop recently purchased with Win 10 and fast processor. I know several players on PC laptop that have no problem---I can't seem to get arrow keys to work.

What platform are you using to download game? The Windows store App? If so I would change to using steam game platform and downloading the game from there. Other then that you can check your keyboard controls in settings. See if you have something turned off by accident. Check # lock, also Youtube keyboard arrow keys not responding. This is where I find a lot of my fixes as if there is a problem, some one has gone through it as well. Check updates and contact support for you computer make. Eg my notebook is HP and it has its own tech support app.
I will also look for possible causes and report back bud

It may be this. My computer has a tablet mode in settings. Check to make sure you are not stuck in this mode as it will probably make you download the Tilt version of the game

Advanced warning. The steam version will cost 20. But both me and Viper have had no issues of freeze or other problems. A little lag but thats par for the course and is not attributed to steam. You have one Ace in the hole. If all else fails, get Online support through Microsoft. They can manually take control of your system and see where your problem is. I hope I hae given you enough of a bread crumb trail to help you sort this out. Blue Fighter is much more knowledgeable then me, and is also a great person to contact.

I turned off tablet and will give it a try. It's downloading PC version, as I can see that in Win shop. I tried Steam, but I'm not paying another $20 for the game.

I disabled tablet, reloaded game and rebooted---still fly in a straight line. I have a new computer coming this week, but I know not all are so lucky. What a shame!

I'll stay active in the thread and see what happens with new system.

Quick question, you have checked to see if your arrow keys are functioning while typing? Just to eliminate the possibility its is a keyboard problem? If they work while typing this has to be either a windows store update issue or game bug

Hey Cypher, you helped a lot! It'll fix itself, as most things do. And the Dire will at least be here bugging the WP thread..lol.

Time to break down and buy an Xbox controller Dire! I haven't used the keyboard since I was a major general in df1 lol.
