So the new update prevents you from using world chat unless you pay $1.99 or so a month. I hear it also has a bunch of problems with calibration of tilt controls. For these reasons I haven't updated the app yet. Sadly when I joined a game this morning, it wouldn't let me play and said I had to update. So for one thing I think it's just a tiny bit unfair that users can no longer interact via World Chat, as there are very few subscribers versus non subscribers. This means WC isn't even useful anymore because you'll have 2 people online at a time that can even access it. Besides that, I use tilt controls and I don't want the game to be unplayable. But I suppose either way I'm grounded, because if I don't update, I can't play at all, and if I do, I can't control my plane.

I really don't mean to complain here, I just happen to find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Zuperman, if you can get a patch out for that calibration issue in the next day or two I'd update the app. I'd suck it up and say goodbye forever to world chat, and saying goodmorning to people like L!L as they sip their coffee, even saying good game after the end of a match. (These are, of course, the things we lose here.) But I'd at least like to be able to hunt some reds again.

It recalibrates at the beginning of games. Not much of an issue unless reds are at your base when you spawn. Just remember to keep your device where you want it for level flight while calibration is happening

Edit- recalibration happens at the beginning of SOME games. I haven't figured it out, but don't let it stop you from playing. It's really no hassle... UNLESS reds are right at your base when you spawn. Then it's a pain in the ass. Not sure why it's a new feature. Seems a bit strange to me.

I'm not fussed about world chat as its mostly childish and boring. But yeah my tilts insane. I also appear to have been placed back in my old squad?? Don't know what happened there??

Putting you back in your old squad happens a lot. Just need to reapply to your new one.

yep agent its pretty sad that chat has now gone for non subscribers i think its a mistake as ive seen a lot of subscribers telling people not to whine and complain about the game unless they pay to play . ive even encouraged people to subscribe via world chat myself and other long term players have done similar .i see why this has happened as a lot of trolls come to the game just to disrupt chat and start issues like one guy last month doing racist slurs zup must face a full time job sifting though the screen shots of reports.i was recruited in world chat to my previous squad.id like to subscribe but cant so im screwed

Not sure if this is the right thread but ever since I started playing, I have always been blue. I have seen others leave and come back as a different color. What's the trick or the advantage.

Hey Dog...yea I don't have wc/or in game chat .....

2day I had to watch a guy in game ...crash 1 time after another ..bout 10 times in row ....

as got no chat ..felt helpless as cudnt help him out ....
