The 2016 presidential candidates seem irresponsible and ridiculous
i don't think any of them should be president

Bernie seems too old to be president
Hilary might not be truthful
Trump is childish and Air headed
so should i?

You can write in anyone you would rather vote for. Just name your favorite Misfit.

Yep!

Yes, absolutely you should vote! It's more than just the presidential race that you're going to be voting for. There will be local ballots and measures that will affect you directly. There will be local races, a vote for the House and possibly even a Senator. As far as the top ticket on the ballot, well... Tough call. Clinton should have been the easiest person to beat since Mondale, but then there's Trump for the other major party. There will be several others on the ballot as well though, so you don't have just the two choices. There was a self proclaimed "Wizard" that made it on the ballot in many states the last two elections. Maybe you could vote for him?

DO VOTE, though. Just make sure you read your blue book (it should get sent to you before the elections come up. It will tell you everything that's up for vote, plus the pro and con side). Don't make decisions based on your gut. Make them with knowledge.

Joking aside for a moment, BHG. A democracy fails when it's electorate is uninformed and uninvolved. It is your duty to learn about the candidates and cast an informed vote. You will also be electing members of Congress as well as state and county officials. In other words, Hell yes you should vote. Every American soldier, marine, sailor, or airman that has died in any of America's wars in a nutshell have died to ensure your right to vote. Don't waste their sacrifice because two of the presidential candidates are some of the poorest forms of human life that ever existed.

Let me add a little personal story too. When I became voting age was when the whole Iran-Contra affair came out (if you don't know about it, look it up. In a nutshell, Congress wouldn't fund support for murdering death squads in South America, so the executive branch sold weapons to our enemies in order to fund the murdering death squads in South America. I had an ex-Marine that worked for me that was one of the trainers in Nicaragua, and even he said that while thing was bs). As a result, I decided I wasn't going to pay taxes anymore, and I figured that since I wasn't paying taxes, I shouldn't vote. Never mind that I was using government funded road, state and fed parks, etc etc, I figured not voting was my way of silent protest. Ten plus years later I hook up with this sweet lady who tells me she's not going to date anybody that doesn't have a license or an arrest warrant (yes, I failed in both those criteria), so I got my shiz together, paid my back taxes and said "Hells yeah I'm voting!" Boy, did I feel stupid when I realized what I had been missing out on.

VOTE!

Voting isn't just a right, rather it's a responsibility for all citizens to take seriously. If we don't we're dissin the very foundation this country was based on. Sure, in every election there is always an azzhat or three running for something or other, but don't let that deter you from exercising your your right & responsibility as an adult American citizen to vote!

And as I look at it, if you don't vote you don't have the right to b!+¢%!

In my experience there are always things about every candidate I don't like.
Voting is about choosing the least worst candidate, not the best.
Do vote, its most peoples only chance to have a slight influence on the future.

yes,vote. I well informed voter that votes is very important. one of these will be our president regardless if we like them or not. no vote in a way is a vote. people that do not vote are letting others decide their fate,the fate of their children and our country.
