When are they going to play split the server on this game there's too many people with computers dominating us guys using phones and tablets don't stand a chance it's unfair I was told it was going to split off so the computers played on their own server

I think you will find von hulk plays on an iPad and I don't see many people dominating him!!! How do you know who is on what device , or are you just whining cos they are better than you.

I'm not saying I'm the best player what I am saying is I know there are a lot of people playing with PCs how do I know they told me they can hit me from over a half a map away and I can barely even see them but that's okay you have a right to your opinion so do I

i disagree, i don't think "a lot" of players are using PC. also PC tends to be nerfed against tablets, i dunno about phones.

Zuperman has mentioned splitting the servers when there are enough players to warrant it. if you split the servers at this point, nobody would ever find an adversary.

yes, i DO play Pc. in the timeframe i typically play, i certainly wouldn't say i dominate anyone very often.

Its quite the opposet. In DF 1 PC had a very large margin of superior maneuverability. But skilled pilots could and still can out smart and shoot down lesser experienced pilots that use PC platforms that are superior in turn fighting and sharp aggressive turns. DF Elite is the other way around. Tablets and most newer smartphones (Tilt) out maneuver PC players, especially windows 8.1 and 10 by a large margin. Again a more experienced pilot can still come out on top. Using the correct plane is important. I am finding the tri planes are very very good in the trees, and flying at low speeds deep in the tree cover. Other pilots will over fly you or crash. Use the terrain. Sneak along hill sides to then crest the hill and shoot your opponent. Some people hate sneaks, So What. They have a advantage with game platform you even it up using what the game allows and what you believe to be good play. I myself never drop unless outnumbered taking off from my base in BTB games. The Moral is every pilot in DF has gotten stomped. Its part of the game and will make you better. Worry about the things you can control, not the things that you cant. Eg, Split Servers, sensitivity bar, Etc. Play hard and good luck

Splitting servers will be a disaster as most people want to play with their friends , we don't need all things to be equal that would be boring.

I appreciate it Airwolf I just find it so difficult to even see the plane I'm aiming at but yet they kill me so fast and they're so far away I don't understand how they can hit me and destroy me when I can barely even see the plane and I'll be the first to agree I have a long way to go to get good at this game but it's hard to get good at again when you fly over the hill in a plane you can barely see shoot you from right over their Base and you just left your base I might just be whining you might be correct what is hard to believe that when they're flying right in front of you and you can see the plane you can't even connect even though you see the bullets going right at them some days I do good I killed quite a few planes but I have yet to figure out what am I doing on the good days so I can to continue to do it seems to me I'm fighting the same way every day

Well sorry I wasn't trying to start a pissing contest I just don't understand how I can be shot from so far away and I can't even hardly see them the know man I'm relatively new to the game I'm not that good I understand that but when you get shot down 10 times in a game and never even hit anyone I don't believe I'm that bad if I am so be it I guess I'll just go find another game

Please don't leave the game ahmecanic , we were all poor when we first started , practice and a few tips is what you need. I will pm you a few tips .

In DF Elite bullet drops so if you shoot straight into plane you will not get hits, so shoot just above the plane. With little practice you'll come to know where to aim.

Long range shooting too needs practice as you have to shoot little high above plane so that bullet hit the plane on fall.

There are many players who are very good in shooting, like Bstrachan, cc Rider, dunc, eagle, frits, darkmickey, Dangerous Toy, BICI, MadMaxII etc. Whenever you find any of these players or anyone you see shooting well in game, request them to give you tips and they will be more than happy to provide you one.

The more you practice the better you aim. Remember to shoot little above of plane.

Hope your bullets now start hitting red planes. All the best.

Thanks a lot for your help but I did know about the bullet drop and I do OK some days other days I can't hit them when their right in front of me I just don't understand I know the names of talking about and yes they're really good shooters what I don't understand is how they can hit me from so far away when I can't even see them

Most long range shooters don't see you either. They "pick a spot" where you should be, in relation to your name, fire, and see what happens.

do you have the target boxes checked in your settings? some people may scoff but the entire reason they were added was to make planes more visible at a distance.

some days and against some opponents i have the same problem you describe. take off, there's a red, POP-P-POP and i'm dead. repeat, repeat, repeat until i realise all i'm doing is handing him a string of kills. but you have to fly against superior opponenets to get better yourself.

Ahmechanic, rule number 1: Never fly in straight lines, keep making violent turns. Be unpredictable, even when no enemy near. Basic rule of WW2 flying.

stick with it man,don't give up yet. everyone has been thru what you r experiencing. ive played a couple years n still cant c n get my @zz handed to me on regular basis lol. keep flying,take notice of where their plane is n relation to their name tag. aim a little high in head on fights n lead as much as an inch on side shots lol,good luck and hope to c u n the skies. just remember,ive been shot down 10 times n a game lots of times and im lvl 28 lol,have fun and dont worry about numbers,you will get kills.
