Back of the queue huh, so much for the "special" relationship !!!! Thanks for nothing Obama. A kick in the teeth just when we need our "friends" . Still I suppose we are used to going it alone , it ain't the first time. Bloody French have got a very short memory too or maybe they have never forgiven us for Agincourt. Pull up the drawbridge Brits and man the barricades it's gonna be a rough ride.
May the ancestors look down upon your achievements and smile.

You may have noticed that the uk has decided to leave the European Union , as such we will need to negotiate trade agreements with the rest of the world , especially our closest friends , Obama has said that the UK will be put at the back of the queue when negotiating any trade agreements with the US. Back of the queue behind everybody else , so maybe the "special" don't mean jack to him!!!
It's at times like this the UK will need all its friends !!!!

Wait.....The U.K. decides to leave the E.U. ....and now you blame Europe and the E.U.'s trade partners for taking a step back to wait how the U.K. will solve that self made problem?

It will take some two years to fix all this and for new trade aggreements to be made between the U.K and the rest of Europe and those that made deals with the U.K. while it was still in the E.U., as I understand.

Sure, Obama wants to press on with TTIP, even though no one in Europe wants it, except for the money hungry 1% at the top of multinationals.

I think the U.K. was right to want out of a E.U that has a government of bureaucrats that doesn't listen to anyone and was never elected. Not a word from them to keep the U.K.in, snobbish b'strds.

Europe needs a new reformed E.U., and this might just be a wake-up call for those pen-pushers in Bruxelles and Strassbourg.

Northern Europe should stick together and kick everyone out that doesn't do their utmost to stay in that group of trade partners. Even France lets the others pay for their lack of self regulation, because if they leave there will not be much of a European union left. "You don't shoot at the ambulance" they say.

There is no political union here, no elected central government, that suffers the consequences of their bad performance in a next European election.

Europe has had the luxury of having had the U.S. provide its defence, have nasty dictators at its borders in the south and the east to keep the migrants out and E.U. trade aggreements to keep the import from other continents in check, and the export subsidised to an extend that 3rd world countries farmers could not compete against it on their own home markets. (Chicken left-overs are subsidised and exported to Africa, for instance, and floods the markets there at prices that blow all domestic chicken farmers out of the water.)

Well, it seems those days have past.

Now what?

The "enjoyment" had by America for the last two terms has overwhelmed us. We thought it was time for you to have some fun with our Leader, the phrase he used as a campaign slogan "It's time for a change", rings true now.

I really don't get the BREXIT thing. The biggest problem with the EU (aside from the leadership and their repeated failures to properly address issues) is the whole single currency thing. Take Spain, for example. Their economy tanked, but they are not able to raise inflation or have their currency devalued so that their goods become cheaper to the foreign markets and make them more attractive to buy. Britain managed to hold on to the Poind, so that wasn't a problem for them, but if they want to continue trading with the EU, they're going to have to follow their rules anyway. AND! Now they are in competition with the whole of the EU in selling their goods. AND! There are a lot of people working in Britain from throughout the EU. How are they going to handle that?

Saw a quote from one British lady. I don't know if it's a common thought, but it was something like this. "I really didn't want to leave the EU, but I was sick of our government, so I voted yes. I honestly never thought it would pass, and now I'm scared."

There's also the fact that Britain's credit rating is at a serious risk of being downgraded if they can't get their shiz together and secure solid trade deals with the EU... Oh, and that whole "2 trillion dollars were just wiped away from the global markets" because of that uncertainty.

Sorry, I thought you meant that Obama had no business saying the US should have trade relations with the rest of the EU, and that that was as much a European thing as an american.......and that the UK would be left out....well kinda sortof.

The only politician I mentioned was Obama, by the way......the rest was all about the economy, and bureaucrats.

It's all about the economy.

Is that a Clinton quote?

Ok, how about that new Elite game you're all playing? (Can we blame Obama for that?)

Damn Right! We don't tolerate no nationalism here in America! USA! USA! USA!.........oh wait..........oops........

I don't think nationalism is what started WW2. I think the real "problem" is that nationalism interferes with the global elite's ability to manipulate and exploit people, so they set out to crush nationalism by any means necessary.

All people have a right to exist, and to self determination. (Yes,.... even if they're British!)

I think the U.K. Did the right thing.

can we agree to not call the greedy 1% 'elites'??

how about 'targets' instead??

I admit I don't know much about the brexit thing, but anything that thwarts the 'targets' plans is a step in the right direction
