Hey all,

So, DF is discontinued? I never expected that. And now we are to move to DFE? Well, will do! But what happened?

Last I was here, all I remember was drama, drama, and more drama - young pilots getting big heads while spawn killing, squads fighting, oldies vs. newbies, etc.. All of that helped to push me away from the game. Has any of it ever been resolved? Will Elite be any different?

Things are different yet still the same

Hiya Red! Good to see you back! As to your questions.. it's the same 'ol, same old.. just at a different venue, but with new glitches lol!

And if you're squadron-less (which I doubt) you can count on me for one of your 2 recommendations needed for getting an invite to join Lafayette

Thanks, Lawman, happy to be! That makes sense, though the ingame notice also mentioned a lack of funds so I'm sure that was a factor. And I appreciate the invite (think I've received many from M.O.M!), and I'll keep it in mind. Though, considering that I am a 'nice young woman', not a 'mean old man', I don't know how well I'd fit in. Hmm, maybe someone should start N.Y.W...

Hey Zebra! I guess that things being the same is a good thing- I always did enjoy the game as it is/was.

Surprise-surprise, I happen to be without a squadron as I disbanded my own during the big 'have no time to fly' and 'omg too much drama' disaster. I will certainly take a look at Lafayette, and thank you for your offered recommendation. I am not sure yet, as I just got started flying again, but I may stay a lone pilot for a little while. Apart from when I had my own, I have never been in a squad. It just seems like a big leap to go from returning to joining a squad so fast.

Baroness it is great to see you back here. You have been missed by many people, including some of your former squadmates who found new homes with the [M]isfits. I am sure that they and I would be happy to see you flying our banner. What ever you choose, Welcome Back!

RB!!! It's great to see you back on here! As you have seen a lot has changed and a lot hasn't! Stop by the [M] isfits thread, Fox has been poking his head out of the Den every now and then. Really missed you and Storm!

You were the first to take me in out of the rain, always enjoyed flying with you.
