i disagree; you don't need more bullets if you find your target before you lean on the guns. use controlled bursts (as they would have irl) until you know you have target aquired, then light 'em up hardcore.

leaning on the guns from the first engagement until the end wastes many more bullets in Elite than it may have in DF1.
