I started off as newb ..think zeb influenced my style most ..to df....but 1st squad I joined wolf pack ..taught me so much ..from there got be devils dragoons ...doom....

Tough question! When I first started, would have to say it was 2Storm2 and my good friend Fox #1.

Joining the [M]isfits, brought a lot of good teaching and advice. [M]ad Rabbit has been a great Mentor and friend along with the Mighty Von Hulk.

All in all, the one Pilot I have strived to learn from and tried to be more like is [M]TBuilt.

In my opinion he is one of the toughest all around Fighters in this game. Try to take him out head to head and you'll see what I mean. He gets in a tank, forget it! He pops more Planes than he does Hangars!

Very early on it was Davy and YEMX. Davy because he was so good, YEMX because he was so funny. There were others.

When it comes to game play, I would have to say B52, TBuilt and the mighty green Hulkster.

The first guy is bh foust .I faced him.the most in my first days .my first flight lasted only 30 seconds because of him .then came Davy took me years to hold.my own against him.there was t built blob yemex wig . blackstar g money . and so many of the original df crew to mention.back when I started against these guys I spent more time in my chute then I did flying . but it was always the misfits there when I had a question or needed some help .

Probably HorribleBreast since after I joined Gunner's Inc. I pestered him with a lot of questions.

But there have been a few others that have sent me some messages to help me a bit with things, off-hand I would note Whiplash and CC Rider.

well Triple taps was my first mentor he laughed at me when he shot my ass down loads of times struck up a good friendship with him .not many will help you when they are red and opposing you he chase my tail around the map telling me how to maneuver out of his fire even sent me instructions via email flight tactics ect .then blue fighter (vivek) who helped me when he was a red too i was in the tank said it was new to me and how do i use it he flew above me giving me instructions how to aim the tank then over the years has calmed me and mellowed me to what i am today.MEANwho sent me tips and tricks via pm
then the greatest player ever to fly the game the daddy of dogfight Davy Crockett who i used to talk to every week whether in game or out of game i remember waking up in hospital after nearly dying in my fall and he was chatting to me via zello saying he was praying for me and my recovery and he was by far my rock and now he isn't so well i pray for him to recover

For me it was mostly the pilots that killed me the most starting out are the ones that influenced me the most... they gave me the drive to one day turn the tables on them and get some revenge!! lol! Pilots like Dr.Dave & BlueMaX & Vampyre just to name a few.. they're the ones I specifically hunted once I got my beloved Spad.. Reckless was my first friend here.. Hulk & McFate made me want to join the Misfits but that didn't work out... Triple Taps was always fun as was tKestrel & Cricket.. Whip was both a pain AND a cool guy.. in equal measures lol.. wig was an interesting fellow.. we shared a love of WWI airplanes & pilots.. Ziza & FADACO [£afayette's first girl pilot and a founding member] inspired me to take my game to a whole new level by trying to get a positive Wins over Deaths ratio.. (checkout Ziza's stats to be amazed.. his kdr alone is over 12:1 & the wdr.. & FADACO'S stats too.. sheeeeesh!) There are lots of other ones of course but I'm old and my memory sucks lol!

SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE MADE THIS GAME INCREDIBLE AND A BLAST...SO MANY GREAT SQUADS AND PILOTS THAT HAVE COME AND GONE. I do not look forward to the end, even though the game does not entertain me like it once did and Elite wont load (which might be a good thing, because I hated it when I was able to play it lol)

In the beginning it was the top dogs. BlueMax, Vampire, The Crockett, BhFoust, Whose, I had no idea how they did what did. I used to ask them if we were playing the same game. I thought for a long time there was a secret weapon or a cheat they used. I slowly figured out some of the "secrets", some of the greats gave me lessons or tips. I can remember following players through the bridge for practice. Circus flying, just for fun. Many great memories in what I consider the greatest online game ever, I'm not sure how much weight my opinion carries, because this is the only online game I have ever played, lol. Any game I play after this one will have some big shoes to fill. To be truthful BlueMax had the ability to be alone against 4 or 5 decent players and still win the game, ALONE. BhFoust could sit in the middle of the field (before tanking was so easy), and defend his base, ALONE. I am still amazed by the talent of these players.

Im not a flying wall, i still die often, but im still having fun. ...and like the combat. .

Guys like Hulk, Davy, Tbuilt, CC, B52, Foust, and Monster Cannon all helped my game get better.

Plus they've all become really good friends to me. If they ever decide to let me in the States again, it would be an honor to have a beer with these fellas.

I'd have to say Big Gunzz, Acegirl, B52, Comet, Von Doom, Predator, #Ghost, Tuff Enuff, Dunc, Mean. So many more, but that's to name a few.

Viper, Skeeter, Dunc7, S.E. Dailey, CC Rider, D FLY(AKA Bee)Whiplash and Thulsa Doom. These are some of the pilots I look up to in the DF community. There are to many to mention. I also really enjoy landing in games with Airwolf and uncertain

Great topic. As I read through these post, I have seen many great pilots mentioned.

Jeremy aka Guardian, HellDawg, Doggs, Wig!, Blue Max, ParrotHead, Pownage, BhFoust, tKesterl, BlueDane SwopCamel, Kevy, Kptn Sign. Those are the pilots I owe my skills too. Because of a few of those pilots we started circus flying. Lots of great memories.
