For years I've been flying .I've fought my way to the top .I've made many friends and a few enemies .but there is no other game like this one .you've put many things that so many never wanted into elite it's just not the same game .I do fly.in elite but it just doesn't feel right .

So if you're going to let df 1 die why not sell it to another developer so it can continue its life .it would be a win win situation.you would get some much needed money and us df1 people would still get to enjoy it ...

You said you wouldn't update it because of all the 4.0 users would be knocked out of the game .but really how many people have a 4.0 system these days .

What I'm trying to say is I love df1 .as do so many others we don't want to be shut down we don't want to fly in elite.we are happy here .

I still tell people about df1 .and how there is nothing like it .df1 is an absolute challenge to learn the only way to grow here is develope your skills .

The update is Dogfight Elite and it does not have many things people didn't want. All it has are things people requested. I don't go around working hours to add things people don't want. You may agree with other people's ideas or suggestions or you may not, but Dogfight Elite IS the upgraded version of Dogfight with many of the requested changes throughout the years.

if you want things different on Elite, just suggest them and people will give their opinion. Asking to keep running forever a game is impossible, so ask for what you want on the future instead of sticking to an old dying software. Otherwise we would still all using msdos and running around with cellphones the size of a suitcase.

Oh, and to prove my point. Get me ONE developer that would be willing to buy Dogfight for a reasonable amount of money and I'll sell it. There you go. I'll be waiting for those offers. I'll be more than happy and willing to sell and transfer that version of the game to whoever wants to buy it so I can focus on new stuff.

vamos a ver df1 es un extraordinario juego pero no puede trabajarse,por lo tanto lo que
prima es conseguir un élite que todo el mundo
pueda jugar y este contento,todo es difícil
al empezar,pero estoy seguro que será lo mejor
por que contará con modificaciones que no podrá tener nunca D1.yo llevo casi 4 años
jugando,y claro que me encanta D1,pero en todo
no se puede trabajar,seria mucho trabajo intentar optimizar ambos juegos,aparte de todo

adaptarnos si o si al élite, y.pedir allí las

Lo digo por que en mi perfil del élite me suman más derribos,que tengo en el ranking mundial,es decir no se sumaron ninguno de los
derribos ni hangares que hice ayer en el élite

What I cant seem to get is why would people not like elite over df1? O thats rigbt elite is more realistic i guess and it has ammo drop so they are not as good? Im with zup df1 is died its over with stop crying about it you want to play df still then ok download df elite whats the newest update for df and stop the crying learn to play it end of story..... And If you cant handle that then bye

Oh more realistic is it ...mmm, my history can't be very good then cos I thought ME109's and Hurricanes only flew in WW2 and as for the little boxes........

Dogfight Elite is WWI and WWII game. It's on the description. And the boxes were added per request and you will be able to remove them if you don't like them.
Now if you want realistic you should get Microsoft Flight Similator. Dogfight Elite was never intended to be realistic because most people would not be able to play it. Flying one of those old airplanes is hard, very hard.

I doubt anyone would be found. If a person thinks that purchasing a software that can't be updated is good, that person must be an idiot. The only reason someone would purchase Dogfight would be to use the user base to push spam to them like hell. Which would be put on a contract that it's something I would not allow under any sale of Dogfight.

The only realistic reason I can think about that someone would want to purchase the old Dogfight is to learn how it works internally since it has so many moving parts. But it wouldn't be to keep it running, it would be to learn how to make a similar game.

So yeah, maybe we should start thinking that I'm not a complete idiot and I'm actually doing things with some logic behind it. But hey, if someone wants to purchase the old Dogfight... i'm seriously and honestly happy about it. Looking forward to sell obsolete stuff. I'm sure he'll love the result of the purchase when he receives about 100 complains per day on things that can't be fixed without creating a new product. Everyone seems to forget that some are complaining about Elite right now and saying how much they love the old Dogfight. But before January (when Elite was launched), many were complaining about the old Dogfight and how much it sucked. Ironically, not a single update has come out on the old Dogfight since and now they think it is the best game in the world. Without a single change!

Just did a dogfight update 3 day's ago.

Ok I see your point zup .it's outdated software I get it .but the game has gotten better with fewer players lot less lag now .now for a stupid question can it be transferred to a newer system .I'm sorry to say but I find elite more arcade style.I know it's the same with new stuff but like I said I just doesn't feel right to me .I guess I've grown fond of df 1 and just don't want to see it end .I still find it a challenge to shoot a plane I can't see in the distance instill find it a challenge to get into a good. Turn fight against another phone or tablet player .I like not having trees as I like to fly low .I do miss the first tanks we had but the little French tank works to .but you t is and always will be a great game .and I'm.always seeing new players getting into games .I still give tips and help when I can .and where else can you make a friend by shooting them .

Well friends, see it not black and white, ill be from the beginning in elite, yes it is strange when you beginning here, after a while you gone love it, Elite is great to play, so costume and after a week you gonne say iam raid, give it a litle time to controle your gunn and you gonne see its a great game.
Whe gonne not loose friends, whe all coming to here.
And ok there are somtimes little problems whit loose conection, so Zup working hard to fix that, whe now rome is not built em 1 day.

It might just be a coincidence, but it looked a lot like the picture one of our long lost (banned) players used for their banner a one point.
