Really, thanks to all of the DF Elite pioneers! Thanks to all of you who made the switch before you had no choice. The comradarie and civility of the friendly/deadly elite skies will be fondly remembered and hopefully it will continue even as the main DF population makes the migration. We all know who we are and you will all have a special place in my DF memories.

It's been an honor to fly with you gentlemen!

Alas the good days are nearly over, unfortunately there are too many things wrong with elite for it ever to be as popular as the original.
It just ain't as much fun as DF1 , too many changes have been made, sadly I fear it will not last.

In the 3.5 years I've been playing, lots has changed, but in general it's all been for the better. I'm really looking forward to DF Elite (even though I will need to invest in a new tablet). It's a great game with great people and DF Elite will hopefully bring many new players.

It has been a blast, even with the occasional connection hiccup, hhehehehe

McFate, had a blast flying with you! Will miss those days of playing 'chase' at the bridge!

i hardly think Zuperman will release what he now has and walk away... surely he's going to keep working on elite and improving/correcting it going forward. what's not to look forward to?

Must say that my experience in Elite , even though it is just a prototype playing , has been some of the best fun I have had in my time of playing DF . I have made a few new friendships in elite and I value each and every one . There has been none of the huge crap storms that have consumed df 1 in elite . It seems to have put the F back in fun . Like anything new there will be those that want to stay the way it was , but I would urge you to at least give it a go before chucking in the towel . The general banter in game in elite has been something I havnt seen for quite a while in df . I have noticed there is none of the grumbles about dropping or sneaking ( tactics ) that seem so prevailent in the old df . Yes we get the very odd flair up and it blows over very quickly without a huge thread being made about a particular players style . So with that said I hope to see you all in elite giving it a fair go and after time if you still feel the same then I guess its not for you . My biggest laugh is watching people complain about not getting their moneys worth . If you bought a particular make of motor vehicle and you had nothing but a bad run from it and the manufacturer didnt meet your expectations , would you run out and purchase that same make again ? . I think not . Just pointing out that there are other gaming options for those that are not feeling value for money

its been fun mcfate cc husky cypher etc ill miss the chasing at te bridge almost deadly crashing flying low and around the carrier{mostly me lol} once ppl make the migration i think all of that will end i hope it doesnt all of that was fun and i also hope he doesnt find out about a little trick

My last 7 weeks of elite have been so much more fun than my 4 months on df1... every game is hard fought, every player is reasonable, and the possibilities for strategic play seem much greater. The only drawback has been the frequency of empty games; but even those have typically provided significant opportunities for practice.

I look forward to the additional players finally migrating from df1, but will always cherish you pioneers with whom I have had the opportunity to play (to kill, and to die )
