You spread it on buttered toast . Very lightly to taste . Also crumpets are magic with vegemite . Crackers are great also . When I was a child of about 5 or 6 I used to run between my nannas and our house ,we lived next door , and get my spoon recharged with vegemite each time . Grew up eating stacks of it . During hard times the old generation made soup by just adding a small teaspoon full to hot water . I also loved to drink that . Vegemite never used to be sold world wide so for many years when traveling out of the country I always had some on board . Now its sold in almost all countrys . Nice to spread on buttered cracker and put a slice of cheddar cheese on top . We used to take fresh bread and vegemite sandwiches to school . Ohhh the good ol days .. :)

This stuff is Aussie Gold. Love this stuff. Only the tough of us can take a full teaspoon straight up. If your a first timer then don't go the whole way. I recommend sticking with honey . If you really want to challenge yourself start with Cheesybite. Aussie classic though if you come down here you just try it.
