First you have to leave your current squad:

Go to Squadrons
Click "LEAVE" and you'll get a confirmation message.
Click "YES" and you have left your squad.

Now you have to get another squad to accept you into their ranks. So you'll have to request to join their squad, or have one of their officers invite you to join.

When on DF1, when I try to leave the squadron it says you are a traitor you can't leave people or something similar to that. I can't leave the squad lol. Was able to leave perfectly fine on Elite.

EDIT

This is probably because I was the original creator of the squadron. I am only rank luitenant in the squad. The highest rank is Group Captain because all the Air Marshalls Left. The Group captain is inactive so am I stuck in there forever?

I have heard there is an issue trying to leave if you're the only one in the command role, but since I've never had to deal with that I don't really know.

The only thing I guess you can do is email Zup at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and see if he will kick you from the squad and close down the squad.
