How do you switch sides, reds and blues, thanks

just keep trying till you get in as the opposite side say from German to allied or allied to German but if the game is full on that side you are trying to switch too say there are 4 allied and red you have no way of getting in

You don't get to choose which side you will be on. The game randomly gives you either Allied or German. The only way to switch sides is to exit the game and re-enter the same server. If you are not subscribed this will make you wait for 6 minutes and you have little chance of finding the same game. If you are subscribed you need to select the same server/map, then you get randomly assigned again. If you are given the hangar you don't want, just exit and re-enter again until you get what you're looking for.

Be warned... you'd have a better chance of switching to the other side if it were a coin toss. And BTW, no matter how many times you try to switch, you will never be on the red team.

Thanks, but the reason I ask is, I've been playing for a month now and am always loaded into a game as blue. I've seen players red, then the same player is blue the next game. I thought that they were choosing.

No matter what game you play, or side you are on, you will always be blue.

Blue = good guy, your team

Red = bad guy, enemy team


The server tries to even the games, therefore if you end a game and go into the next one and it puts you as Allied, but your teammate from the previous game also joins the new game, then most likely the server will put him as German (and vice versa).

This isn't always perfect, as I have been in a game where one red shows up, then a second red shows up, followed by a third red. I think the servers just hate me and enjoy stacking the odds against me.
