hi zup dont be offended by this post i have been playing 3 years nearly and i have been a subscriber for as long as subscription has been here .i cannot play elite .its better graphics but i find it hard still to see planes until they are right in front of me unless i drop down low so i can highlight them in the sky .then im at a disadvantage due to bullet drop maybe its my eyes and im just getting older .but remember most of the players play this game are a bit older .after playing half a hour or so my eyes start to ache . like i said in previous posts combination of the HD graphics and bullet drop.i will still play elite but like many here cannot play for sustained periods .

I just have one question. If df1 is being updated to df elite, will df elite or the newest update of df1 be free? Lots of players will also quit if u have to pay for df elite...

This is not going to be an easy task for me, so it's not something that will happen in a few days. I have to test intensively everything.

Dog-I'm sure that the more you play the better you will find it.It is harder to see the planes but you do work your way around that.You will be cutting everyone up in no time!!!I can even do it on my phone now!!

i can play but over a long period my eyes start to hurt i thought it was my tablet being old so i have a new one. still no good for me after playing i want to go put snow on my eyes the game seems good but the spray and pray isnt very skilled to me just shooting in hope of hitting a target . maybe it was like that in real life lol

Have you noticed how much shorter the overall bullet range is? When I first went to elite (day one) I was straining my eyes too. I was putting shots into the far distance where I thought I could make out the tiniest speck. As it turns out by the time the planes are in bullet range they are big enough for me to see.

I have old man eyes. I developed my looping, dodging style in df 1 so I could get close enough to see the targets because I could not make out the far off specks. Now that I'm used to it I find I do better than in original. If you want to get used to the range in Elite try the Zeppelin practice mission. The way the health bar changes color when you hit makes it perfect for testing range.

im not a gamer and looking for other games i came upon this game after lil bought me a tablet for christmas one year i downloaded a few games and this game seemed the most realistic and easy to pick up and play i was crap ive never tried other games .i tried to get alot of my friends involved in the game but it seems a acquired taste . maybe thats me lol

I used to play Xbox games with my kids but when my eyes started getting worse I would get motion sick watching the stationary screen. For some reason playing on tilt doesn't make me feel woozy so dogfight is the only game I play anymore.

So if the folks who play elite now get our df info transferred over it will make our current elite points, money, and rank insignificant? Since there isn't yet a level 32 in elite and I am a long, long way from level 31 it makes sense to play legacy and rack up points and money there unless I'm reading the post wrong....

Bear in mind I play elite but still much prefer the original. Perhaps I am reading what I want to read? Dunno.......

Just read Zups post again,

Compared my stats. The difference is minimal. From what I read all stats will be transferred (kills, hgrs, deaths, won, crashes, and coin and purchases) to elite. The current one deployed.
The only question would be which rank would be kept and which points in game. Since Zup said he was going to update the original DF to elite, he is probably going to migrate the same as he did in Jan and all players will drop to the start point in elite except for those who have already started to play.
It really makes little difference for the time being except it is easier to rack up stats in df1 only because there is a bit of a learning in curve in elite. That will all change once the app is migrated to elite and we are all playing.
The flip side to this in elite, you are playing the game with all the new enhancements, ie trees, clouds, aiming, etc. You are adapting to the new game, developing strategies and techniques to play. Something everyone who plays will need to adjust to eventually.

The mechanics of sound horrible, application and database migrations are never a simple as as they sound.
All said, we will all be on one game eventually, dogfight elite. A new game with new features that require some different skills and tactics.

Yes, its easy to see the advantage to playing elite is to learn all the nuances such as bullet drop, dealing with trees, cloud cover, tank range, etc. Still, for a stat chaser it would seem the most bang for your buck would be had playing legacy until the change is made. Like I said, I may be reading it wrong. Guys like sspippe who is currently rank 31 in elite will likely be rank 31 in elite when it all swaps over and has, at least how I read it, gained no significant advantage from a point/stat/wr standpoint by playing elite vs legacy. In my case level 31 will be attained in elite just by being patient and my points in legacy will carry over, so by default ill be 31 with all my legacy points once the update arrives. Currently I am level 19 in elite and have more $$ in legacy than elite.

Okay, now I have a headache.

I think ill continue to play both for as long as I can.

I.e. df1 will overwrite df elite? I'm confused

Also will the migration be free or do we have to pay to upgrade to df elite?

And finally wat about our squadrons? Will those be transferred over too since I don't want to repay another 100000 in game points just to restart a new squad

The crux of it, is the wr going to drop to elite levels or will it remain from df1 levels? All other stats, coin and clag will balance out.
I thought about both but now think it will just be a migration to the already existing elite with some changes for those accounts already there. Much less of a delta.
Only one person can answer this question. Maybe we will get some additional clarification.

I guess it depends on if u u see df1 more or df elite. I just don't want to lose my df1 stats esp my squadron

The skills are subtly different in elite. It is a new challenge. Hate to lose my stats from df1, though. I worked hard to get to #40 WR. Now, I am #60 in Elite. It is even more a big deal for Mean, I would think, or Savage Viking, who is close to MORAF in df1.

Can you add newer tanks.... Also don't make the bullet fly straight like world of tanks. I like the tank how it is but some changes like the tank itself and also More tank in the garage. Also would be nice if there was a tutorial video or anything bio that has to do with turn fighting. So more new player can know how to play in game. Also add the basic of what you can do and can't in the game like you can't team kill.. This is an idea. If possible. Thanks for the great game. 5 stars rating. And as always good luck, and have fun.

I can't even log into df elite. I received no updates on kindle. So I started a fresh account. No problems there. Apart from the fact I see no planes just the names until it's to late. My chute exits plane side saddle. Should of been a level playing field all round. Every player starts from level one. With basic plane. Now that would be fairer but I guarantee all the top players complain as its easier to shoot the low rank players down.

Also while I'm on one. Please Zup get rid off world chat. It's laborious and the same folk on there.I thank you

Shoot zup an email and he will be able to give you your password for elite. I had to do that to get in as well.

It's taken me over a year to get to my current level. But df elite would be a lot fairer if everyone started on level one

Hi dog I am right with you I have been playing a lot of df elite in its very hard to see the planes I drop low to to see in sky so ur not a lone iam up there in age not to old lol but I find it very hard to see the plane's and I hope ZUP does do something about it my eyes r good but I still have to leave after a while to because of the strain on my eyes ur not alone dog wish something can be done about it

I just noticed that Zup has been testing this... He has transferred his account to Elite but he kept his points and rank intact!
He's rank 21 in both games, world rank 1664 in df1 but he's world rank 9 in Elite! Top 10! Go Zup!

I wonder if anyone is going to complain about how "unfair" this is.
