I really felt like loading a photo on this forum to show you a picture of my dog.

Sounds rather like a corny request, I know.......but there is a reason behind this.

She's the cutest labrador Staffordshire bullterrier mix, but today she bit the neighbour's dachshund bitch that is just to go in heat.
Sure enough a lot of hysteria was flying around of fear for their children being bitten and all of that stuff.
This is the second time such a thing happens and my first impuls was that, although she's a cute dog and all, if the vet doesn't put her down (because she's a real healthy dog) I'll have to do it myself.
There is no way the neighbours will give her another chance, so she'll have to go.....one way or another, be it with pain in our hearts.

I would love her to get a new home, but such a dog gets into the wrong hands all too often after they are more than their owners can handle. Sounds like I fit that picture, but I live on a farm and there is no way you can keep a dog on the property, with all those dachshunds of the neighbours running around free across the street and in our front yard. If caged in,.....I'd rather put her down myself.
She'll need a home with someone that can walk her on a leash. She's great with kids, but I can not in all fairness vouch for her anymore.
Anyone in the Germany/Netherlands area that's interrested is welcome to respond though.

Really sorry to hear that. Check online, there are probably a lot of rescue groups in your area that can help out too.
