So are we subscribing to Dogfight Elite at this point?

I've started getting the wait to play or subscribe option on the server selection screen. I gave the subscribe button a try, but it's apparently dead.

Secondly you can play both version with single subscription, if elite subscription is not working you can pay df subscription.

I think the problem is that we've paid our single subscription on DF1, but Elite is still asking us to subscribe, and is also not accepting subscriptions.

I can only speculate, because my DF1 crashed yesterday, and we haven't been able to get it back up yet.

Idk how it all works, but I subscribe here on df1, I only paid .99 to download elite, and I guess I'm subscribed there as well as here, I have no random or wait times, it shows me all servers and I choose where I wanna go. So, elite has costed me only .99

if you subscribe on df1 it doesn't work on elite. They are different systems. But during beta i'm not enforcing subscription on Elite because I don't think it's fair.

Zup, I understand what you're saying, and I appreciate not having to pay subscription fees during beta. As far as I can tell, that is how it had worked ever since you released the Elite beta.

Just to clarify what I'm asking about; up until a few days ago, whenever I signed into Elite, the whole process of picking a server and joining a match worked just like it does in DF1.

As of Wednesday or Thursday, once I finish my first mission on Elite and drop back to the multiplayer screen, I see the wait to play or subscribe timers running on all the servers, just as if I wasn't a subscriber in DF1. I haven't had a chance to play since then, so I don't know if it is still that way or not.

I had the random game screen come up and I went thru the subscription routine just fine and got my server choice back... for the fee

only to lose it by dawn to the dog-piling of everyone into 1 server...


that has caused the game to strobe a bit and not appear anywhere near as nice and smooth as before...
i hate to use that ugly word LAG but that is where it's at...
