Could the nametag be higher above the actual target you are trying to hit?
Now the target is mostly burried in the nametag somewhere.
The bulletdrop is cool, but they drop behind the vertical line of the gunsight which is a pain. As a fighterpilot I would have filed that lower piece of the gunsight off. But since you would most likely be looking with two eyes while shooting, yet aiming through the visor with one eye...could the visor be made some 50% transparant?
Sure that only is because we have gotten used to the long distance head on shooting for hours on end.
The centre of the visor should be set to distance, the point where the synchronised machineguns would be hitting the target most effectively. In WW1 and 2.....wasn't that when the enemy plane filled all of your visor?
I read somewhere a WW2 fighter pilot would place a matchstick on his visor the show him how big the enemy bomber should be before he should open fire. Before that the bullets would just swerve in all over the place and hardly hit anything.
I would like it if the acurate range of the guns are decreased to a more realistic one....possibly even with a heatjam waiting to happen if you burst longer than you should (some 5 seconds?).
GREAT GREAT GREAT improvent to the game. (but let me get my Stihl Chainsaw out to chop down those damn trees!!!
