Hey guys! Last thread i made was quite some time ago, decided i was gonna be leaving DF for a while to work on my dreams of DJ'ing and Cooking. The DJ thing fell through unfortunately, and im still working on the cooking part. However unfortunate the DJ dream became, my new roommate plays guitar, says hey man we should start a band! Of course i was skeptical at first, then it slowly all came together, we have a drummer, a lead and secondary guitarist, I happen to be our lead Vocalist, and well our secondary guitarist has a good voice too so shell end up being backup vocals! Im super stoked for our first few practices just to see where well be at and what well all need to work on, but idk when those will be either way, its pretty awesome that its working out well so far, already have a few songs written up too, lyrics anyway, i play thru melodies in my head, have yet to get them on paper tho haha. Going for a Three Days Grace or like a Falling In Reverse type of vibe. Anyway Super stoked to inform all of my DF friends of this, maybe spread the word and get a few fans ill defintely pop in and update yall on the situation as it progresses unfortunately music will take up a lot of my time so i dont know how often ill be on, like i said last time, but hopefull it wont be an actual leave of absence.

good for you merf we all have lives and jobs that occupy our lives and the game is for the fun and thrill of the kill n the hunt so slide a game in where you can if you cant then that hangar is mine..

Going from dj to live music is definately a good idea. I kinda did the same thing few years back. Live music is definately the future. Its a lot more involving cuz for ex ur dealing with human drummer instead of a loop. A looop doesnt get hammered in a bar n start pointless fights with people haha.

Have u tried writing a song with music first n lyrics later. Try n see. I can give u tips on that method if ud like. Hope to hear ur stuff soon n dont quit df!!!
