First let me apologize for leaving multiple posts on this thread. I hate it when one a player does that so I hope this will be my last.
Let me just make myself clear on what I am trying to state here. I do not know exactly what Paul is referring to. I am taking it as he is referring to games such as one that [M]ad was in where he had over 400 kills. I have played against [M]ad and I for one would never say he was padding his stats. Some games just lead up to high kills. That's the only point I was trying to make. As for my "dumbest comments" remark, well I stand by that being the remarks that were left by Paul.
I actually just came out of a game where [M]ad was a red against me. He arrived as a red somewhere around the half way mark of it. Before he arrived my team had the clear advantage. We bombed 6 hangers and had all of ours. My stats reflected the kind of game it was at around a 4:1 KDR.
([M]ad...sorry for bringing your name into this but your awesome game of 400+ kills is the perfect example. Maybe you shouldn't be such a great player and I wouldn't have to bring your name into it

)
Then MXLL arrives as a red and [M]ad a short time later. Plus I lost my other good player. The tides have turned now. Throughout the rest of the game I had some good players on my side to help but always had at least 2 noobs where the reds now had 2 great players and 2 quality players. Little by little they got to our hangers and eventually won the game. They definitely had the team advantage and I had no shot in the world of ever seeing their hangers again but I sure as heck didn't make it easy on them in taking ours.
Now I ended up with 97 kills and bombed 4 hangers. Well the hangers happened before my team was clearly outranked. Now for me to reach this many kills in a game at a disadvantage as such, when a game is evenly matched the kill count gets higher. It's plain and simple. Anyone who has been in similar games would know this too. Now some may say why not sneak, drop, or use some other tactics. Well I can tell you that those tactics have been used in game where I had over 200 kills. Even then those tactics were defended well against.
All I am trying to say is that because a game ends up with players with such a high kill counts does not mean that a player is padding his/her stats. They actually happen because the game is played very well by some top quality players and bring that game to an early end is just not going to happen.
Here is the stats of the game I mentioned...
Now I was there much longer than [M]ad yet his kill count is on par with me. Why is that? Well for one he is that good of a player. Also because some of his oppenents were lower ranks where his kill count will accumulate faster than mine. There was not one second in this game that I would say anyone was padding their stats. In fact I would say all was being done to try to win the game.
MXLL was constantly sneaking against us where my apirant (who just ranked up in this game) was trying to sneak as well. He did get one hanger. GJ Max if you ever see this. You played well man. Also there was some dropping going on in the game.
No one complained about anything in this game because it was a hard fought battle. I feel that if the sides were more evenly matched then by all means the kill amounts in this game could have very easily exceeded over 200.
I hope this makes it clear to all how a game can lead to so many kills and without a player "padding" their stats.
