OK SO HAVE BEEN ON ELITE NOW FOR ABOUT A WEEK. AND STILL NOTICING NOT SO MANY PLAYERS ON ELITE YET. I UNDERSTAND ITS BECAUSE NOT ALL PLAYERS HAVE MADE MOVE TO ELITE YET AND SOME STILL WAITING FOR ELITE TO BE RELEASED ON THEIR SYSTEMS. SO I WAS THINKING TO REQUEST ALL THOSE WHO HAVE MADE THE MOVE ALREADY TO TRY AND PLAY MORE ON ELITE NOW THAT WAY WE CAN GRADUALLY MAKE ELITE A BIT MORE ACTIVE. WE NEED MORE ACTION OVER THERE IF YOU ARE ALREADY PLAYING ELITE PLEASE HELP AND MAKE ELITE A BIT MORE ACTIVE. I FOR MY PART HAVE DONE THAT IM NOW LESS ON DF1 AND MORE ON ELITE TRYING TO GO UP LEVELS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. OK CYA ALL AROUND.

I would love to play Dogfight Elite. I have downloaded it and tried to play but until Zup fixes the issue with my tablet's tilt. There is nothing I can do. Wish he would fix it.

I have been in two elite games. The first one the name font was so huge I couldn't see the red aircraft. Fixed that with the update. The second game was with a tablet tilt guy who couldn't fly. My game is kind of choppy and sluggish, likely due to my device's speed. I cannot see the financial logic in spending $600 or more on hardware to make a $1.99 game better, but I haven't given up. I really like the graphics, too bad my internet doesn't. For the time being ill be bouncing back and forth between elite and original.

Once it's released on Apple there should be more players coming in.

I know Zup had mentioned that some devices are not powerful enough to handle Elite. I have to think this is not true. Here is why. I have your average tablet, about $140 one. Right now everything is a mess for me after that last update. It was a mess from the first day I downloaded Elite but in the time between I have seen that almost all the issues I am having have been resolved but never all of them at the same time.

Here is what I mean. I too was getting huge letters. At one point they were noraml. That choppy, sluggish play you are seeing, well that too was something I saw and at some point was also resolved. Well I had the same experience with all the issues. At some point every issue ran correctly. Now it's just a matter of getting them all running smoothly at once.

Well maybe that's wishful thinking but from what I saw I would have to believe that yes Zup will be able to do it whether it's a +$500 device or your average device. Maybe not. I can not say for sure. Keep in mind mine is a 1 - 2 year old model so it's relatively new. Maybe some older models may not be able to run it.

My question is are you actually hurting yourself by playing dogfight elite? With only half our points available in dogfight elite right now and adding points in that game and none in dogfight will Zup add those points together or will you just be reset to the current points in dogfight when it's all finally transferred over to elite? Or are we all getting screwed with the ranks in dogfight elite?

Unless I misunderstood things, I think we got what stats an cash that was transfered as a way of saying thank you and/or a way of enticing us to pay for the beta download, and for helping to test/iron out the wrinkles during beta testing.

Zup said that DF and DF Elite would be two separate games, so I don't think there will be any more changes to our stats . . . think of it as having a leg up on the folks who are play Elite from scratch.

I understand they are two different game's but until I have a better explanation from Zup about how that's going to happen I'm waiting until all points are transferred over to elite.

Like I said, I am not giving up on elite. For the time being legacy DF is the better game, at least on my hardware. Ill bounce back and forth between the two games. Someone made a good point that gaming time is tough to come by so choosing one or the other to play will primarily depend (in my case) on which game is more fun to play.

Now I guess I'm confused; when did Zup say that he would be transferring any more of our points over to Elite? I think he transferred whatever stats/points over manually once, I don't think it is a continually running update, so whatever points we're building up in DF now (after the data transfer) isn't helping us in Elite. The only effect waiting to play Elite has is to put you behind in the point earning treadmill . . . if that matters.

I have the same problem with the tilt feature on my windows phone.

All points,coins and level are already transferred. AL MORAF of DF will start at level 16. Only half of coins are transferred and half is adjusted against transferring of planes, tank and chute soldier gun you already have in df otherwise being separate game we have to start from scratch.

With the caveat that Elite is still in beta testing (there are still a few bugs to work out):

• Elite's graphics are better
• There are a lot more trees in Elite, and the trees apparently absorb some damage. It makes tanks more effective as they use the trees for cover and snake in toward the targets. It also makes it harder to maneuver close to the ground . . . think about bombing runs on bases or some of the turning fights that happen close to the ground.
• It will apparently be easier to use clouds to hide in/around.
• Elite uses a more realistic ballistic model that factors in bullet drop . . . so no more shooting targets from a mile away, unless you're really good at lobbing them in. They probably be more turn fighting in Elite.
• We will eventually have missions in Elite where we can fly WWII aircraft.

why would you want to split your game in two.? Is it to charge regulars twice.! Are you suppose to be loyal to one over the other?

It's not splitting the game in two. Dogfight Elite is the continuation of Dogfight. It is like Forza 1, Forza 2, Forza.... Quake 1, Quake 2, Quake 3... Diablo 1, Diablo 2... etc.

I think the point is clear now. I can't think of more ways to explain than they are different games and that everyone should begin from scratch, but I made the decision to allow players who already had an account on Dogfight to get a head start on Dogfight Elite so they don't have to repeat the same process to catch up.

it is still in beta and improving gradually. gonna be great when the tweaking is done I believe. cant play on my kindle but luckily an lg g f7.0 tab came within h my new lg2 flex phone. works better on the tab now not so on the phone yet. good things take time. I am sure zup is gets ng a few gray hairs lol
