Farewell Cue,
I hope things work out for you in the real world. You only mention personal reasons... the fact that you feel you need to leave the game shows that you are not alone. I slowed my playing way down a little over a year ago largely so I could be more present I the real world. My family needed me and I was neglecting some things with work."....just a minute, this game is almost over!" One of the hardest things to do was to leave in the middle of a good one...
If I could bill for my time on Dogfight at the same rate I can bill work for clients I would be about $ 100,000 richer.
Whatever your reasons, Cue, I'm sure you're making the right choice.
Good luck!

There are many stories of harm done to real life relationships due to addiction to Dogfight. There are also several 'goodbye' messages in old posts from players who have left in order to patch up neglected relationships.
I hope your own story does not belong here.
If it does, close the damn forum and go show someone how much you love them right now!
