What is it with celebrities and notable people always dying in groups of three? In the last five days we have lost three:

David Bowie- the goblin king

Alan Rickman- villain die hard1/professor snape

Dan Haggerty- grizzly Adams

Go back a couple more weeks and you can Natalie Cole to that list. It's more a symptom of our obsession with celebrities than it is an measurable mortality pattern.

Approximately 750,000 people die world wide every five days.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 759 U.S. drivers/sales worker & truck drivers died from work related injuries in 2011. What is it with American truck drivers dying in groups of two? That's two or more every day on average!

The majority of us don't pay attention to that (unless you're a truck driver, of course). ;)
