Breaking news on the BBC. The man who fell to earth, painted his face and led musical innovation for my entire life is gone! Not only was he a genius, he was a lovely bloke. I'm gutted.

Hear hear!
I got to meet Bowie twice backstage when he was touring with NIN.
When I first met him I thought he was one of the stagehands. I used to think he was very tall but he's shorter than me 5'9".
He introduced me to his son the second time. He and Trent Reznor (my son) did quite a few projects together.
David was a kind and humble man.

:( R.I.P to a great and very talented man . I had the privilage of going to David Bowies first ever concert in Australia at Adelaide oval on November 11 , 1978 . He was such a fantastic performer and after seeing the Angels perform first it was a night to never forget . I have been a huge Bowie fan all my life . Always missed , never forgotten .
