Hi friends, recently there is surge of problems after installing windows 10 updates. Please mention your problems here, so the members can help each other to resolve the issue.

ENABLING SYSTEM RESTORE

I suggest that all Windows 10 PC users activate restore feature on their pc as mentioned below till windows updates are stable. In case anything goes wrong after any update you can easily restore your PC to last good condition.

Go to Control Panel-> Select System-> then on top left select System Protection where you can see whether
Restore feature is enabled or disabled. If disabled, select local disk C:(System) and then select configure just below the box. Select Turn on system Protection and select Max Usage to 10-20 GB to be used by system to save multiple restore points.Press OK Now below Configure , there is Create Icon, Press on it to Create your first Restore point.

Whenever any program is installed and that includes system update, a new restore point is created. and when the space mentioned is Max Usage is filled it starts deleting old restore points.

In case of any problem, select System restore in system protection and select the latest restore point to resolve the issue.

One can google to learn How to restore, before going to restore system. I'll try to post here the how to restore later.

How to uninstall the windows updates in case the restore feature is not activated.

Sir Gannet has recently encountered update related problem due to which Dogfight is not running.

Here is how he resolved the issue

Uninstalled the last update to Windows, 27th Dec, and Dogfighting is on again!

This link tells you how:
www.howtogeek.com/206271/how-to-roll-bac...atic-windows-update/

The update name was KB3124200 (This may be different for different users)

And I've set my home wifi network to "metered connection". That will stop it doing updates so It doesn't do it again. (I'll leave it that way for a while)
