Im from the bottom and my wife is from the top. The reason i say how my wife does it is; well because it comes off the top at my house eventhough i believe it works better from the bottom. Lol

You obviously don't have cats! It's an odd situation when you walk into the bathroom and see a whole roll of toilet paper spooled onto the floor. What do you do? Trust me in that you don't want to try to put it back on the roll. That NEVER works. It's tempting to just leave it on the ground and pick up what you need as time goes by, but then you're just leaving a cat toy out and if you have guests over, they tend to think you're a little weird. Same with folding it up, although your guests don't react quite as viscerally when they unfold tp from the back of the toilet as they do from picking it up from a wadded mess on the floor.

Trust me. If you have cats, load your tp so it comes from the bottom and save yourself having to think about things like this!

I have 7cats they no longer go into the bathroom after I had to ask the question of if your alone and the roll gets away from you what do you do..one of them ran like hell when I looked at him and said hmmmm
