My Windows 10 has just done an update, and now Dogfight wont finish its load.
Anyone else got the same problem, or is it just me?

i have not had this problem... yet.

Check this thread and let me know whether it resolve the issue. If not just install the latest update of your graphic card. Mostly it's display driver related problem.

Yes dogfight is disappearing after the second screen, just like that other guy in the link, so it seems likely it is also a video driver issue. It would be nice if Windows 10 actually gave error messages!.
Driver looks very close to being right. Correct chipset, but maybe different manufacturer. I'll waste some more time investigating today.

I have the same problem. Checked for driver updates. Uninstalled / reinstalled app. Still same problem.

To bad haven't been able to play for over a week. Hope it's fixed soon!

Just update to windows 10 from 8.1, now dogfight will not load. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck. Loads to second page and then disappears. Sent an email to echoboom to see if this is a common issue and what to do. It has taken me a few months to get windows 10 to work right but now can't open dogfight. Hate to loose this game but may have too.

In my case df installed but after showing the Echoboom screen, it closes the program.

What I did is to go to Control-Panel->device manager->display adaptor-> It shows me two name one is intel and the other is nvidia. I right click on intel and made it disabled. Now the display runs only Nvidia driver only. It works for me now.

PS: nvedia is my dedicated graphic card.

Check this above step and let me know whether it works for you or not.

Windows 10 assures me it is using the "latest" driver. Hah! Do I believe it?

I'm not yet familiar with the inner workings of 10.
Maybe there's a way to roll back the last Windows 10 update....That would at least pin down what the cause is.

Good to know all of this is going on. I've not loaded Win 10.

Sir Gannet, which graphic card name is showing in display adapter. Please reboot the machine as sometimes the problem is resolved after rebooting.

Member Uncertainty has resolved his issue using below mentioned procedure:

Ghostwolf, this is related to DF not DF Elite.

I am very much sure that DF Elite will be installed without any problem as Zuperman must has tested that on his window machine. So you cn upgrade to windows 10 soon after DF Elite is available for installtion. Till then carry on with current version of DF.

Uninstalled the last update to Windows, 27th Dec, and Dogfighting is on again!

The update name was KB3116900 Correction KB3124200

And I've set my home wifi network to "metered connection". That will stop it doing updates so It doesn't do it again. (I'll leave it that way for a while)

(Video card is Showing as ATI RADEON HD3450, although on the card its a "Pegatron")

I went to video drivers for my laptop, it is an HP laptop and only shows one driver AMD Radeon HD 6310 still not letting dogfight load. One time it did get to the intro video but then stopped, most times is stops on second screen. I have had this issue before when on windows 8.1 but could always get it working by reinstalling dogfight or rebooting etc. Just do not know what else to try for windows 10

checked driver and it is the latest version. Looks like this is a video driver issue. Will keep looking but my have to go back to windows 8.1 what a pain, next computer I buy will not have windows OS, all the updates are very annoying.

just uninstalled the latest windows 10 update like Sir Gannet. See if it works. Most of them i know were fine after uninstalling the update.
