I got some advice son. Enjoy the game cus its a good game. But keep yourself to yourself and dont bother trying to get involed. Its a closed shop and outsiders are not welcome

Dogfight is a "closed shop"? That's a terrible attitude for any community. Outsiders are most certainly welcome, as long as they play nice!

There are some in this game that like to hang out in world chat just to cause trouble. Just ignore those trolls.

Always near enough the same bunch. I made the mistake of tryimg to join in. You get the impression that they are actually in a room. Locked

They dont bother me cus i dont particularly want to talk to em

Oldmandave, I always try to say hi to the new guys so they feel welcomed. My advice is ignore them and I bet they leave or stop. Their only trying to get a rise out of people, but if we ignore them then we're the better man.

You are kidding right? I am referring to this thread and the other one you made that is floating around titled the same but without the "?" mark.

Yes there are many here that are jerks. I actually recall you being one of them. See I didn't forget you or how you treated me. I was a new guy here just starting to learn the game and play well. It was during the major problem when so many players were invisible. Remember that period that lasted over a month?

Well I do and I remember you from that time. You played many games while you were invisible and talked SO MUCH TRASH! You went around killing everyone and bombing hangers while you were invisible. I asked you very nicely many times to stop but you continued to play this way and were a big time jerk about it too. That's how you caught my attention.

You even were a jerk and a smart aleck on world chat so please don't give us the "I must be getting soft" speech. Here you are complaining about people being jerks and you were one yourself. Basically you were telling me to "f" off then too without actually saying it. You even went as far to change the story around and deny that you played invisible to me on world chat and tried making me look bad.

I told you back then in those games that one day you will regret it when I do finally see you in a game. Well that game did come and luckily it was only that one time that I finally saw you in a game as a red. I made my point in that game very clear and you were not too happy about what I dished out. Do you remember that game? Well I do. I will admit that towards the end you actually passed a comment that made me laugh and I mean that in a good way. That comment is what made me finally stop dishing out what you deserved and I said I would not do that again.

Well this was a few months ago and I have never seen you in the air since then. I don't have any grudges against you for what happened back then and as far as I am concerned that issue was squashed. I have always been a BIG TIME JERK myself throughout most of my life. Well over the past 15 years I have really tried to turn that around and believe me I am so far away from being perfect. I do not consider myself any better than anyone else but I try to be respectful to everyone unless they do not deserve it.

Do you see half of the stuff that is said on world chat? Do you remember being a jerk yourself on it? Well I do. So big freakin deal. Someone was ignored on world chat. I can say you were ignored quite often because you used to make so many wise aleck remarks on it that you did not deserve for anyone to talk to you. Then you wonder why you feel like you may not fit in? Please save it!

Then you post here on forum about this and when players are asking you to explain what happened you once again are being a smart aleck. Yes this thread tells what happened but the other one didn't and that's the one that made absolutely no sense. You are not ready to change your ways from what I see from you by calling people here w**kers on that other thread titled "any advice" without the "?" mark when players were simply asking you to explain yourself. You even made a thread about leaving Dogfight some time ago but a day or two later you say ohh I am gonna stay.

Listen if you are begging for that much attention I hope this long post from me satisfies your need. If it's still not enough then YES you should fit in with those of us that are cool with eachother here.

See the problem is you! You are a smart aleck (I am being very polite by chosing this title and not another). Stop being one and start being a freakin normal person that can carry a normal conversation and then maybe you will see that there are many here that are actually quite enjoyable to converse with.

Keep in mind that yes there still will be jerks around and well that does stink. Make your choice on how you will be here in DF and I mean the real you and not someone portraying to be a certain way but is actually another way.

And last if you care to know I go above and beyond of helping out anyone here that may need some, noob or MORAF. Do you?

So it actually wasnt said, Dave dont judge everyone on one thing u saw if u really are an old man dave the experience should have told u that, plus u were just watcing this unfold..grow a pair comment on the wrong you saw at the time, dont blame everyone for ur lack of balls!.
