My old man eyes can't take it. Can't see my own ___(Fill in)___ in front of my own face!
Rather have no snow either, too reflective.
In DF Elite whenever it's finished anyway...

Ya know... You can just use the altimeter and brighten your screen

Delete the app completely, reload it from the store.
While installing close it when uploading graphics.

But I'll sign it when it's for DF Elite.
Unless it's a specific night mission in which the cover of darkness is a neccessity. (Who knows, the new missions might suprise us. )

That's altering the game and that would be unfair now wouldn't it

FWIW, I don't get night games on my kindle fire, only on my galaxy phone.

But as it is, some of us have night and some have day at the same time. How fair is thát?
Before I also followed this procedure, I got people saying that it was night, when to me and some others it was broad daylight.

At least I tell everyone how to get rid of this.

But I still can't hit the broad side of a barn.

I thought night games would be cool. Well they were for about a week.
But I cant see crap. I have no depth perception. I run smack into oncoming planes.

Whats worse, is that PC players and others have figured out how to turn off the night giving them an unfair advantage.

I hope to see night games eliminated.

Can't see a damn thing in the sky, cant see a damn thing on the ground and blinded.
All I have to say is BS. I applaud those who can see, and without old man eyes.

How do you turn off night? I tried the reinstalling way?

I am currently using iPad2 but this same procedure worked the same on my old Nexus 7 (android):
First delete the app.
Then reinstall the app from The App Store or Google Play.
Open the app.
When the app starts the "optimization mode" and begins the steps that apply settings for water, shadows, weather, and such IMMEDIATELY CLOSE THE APP AFTER or during STEP 1.
Totally CLOSE THE APP.
Make sure it's CLOSED.
Maybe turn the device off or something, just make sure its not running in the background.
Then turn it back on and open your newly installed app, skip the intro movie, go to settings, uncheck all boxes that aren't already unchecked except sound ( if you like ) and plane chat. That should be it.

I like the dark aesthetically, as long as the moon is at my back.

I never really understood why everyone would complain about the dark. I always liked it and thought it was easier to see especially since the bullets lit up. I could see the whole field and players, no matter what they were in, plane, tank, or chute, perfectly.

I play on a tablet and this great review was when I had my brightness 100%.

Now that my tablet is getting abused by me playing so much and older the brightness tends to drop to 70% because the tablet's temperature. Well now I can see what everyone is talking about. I can still see ok but not nearly as close as I do at 100%. Plus I can't see a tank shell coming at me until it's too late when the brightness is at 70%.

So I guess many players have a similar scenario and now I can relate. I still do like the night games. It makes the game a bit more challenging. It wouldn't be right though if the playing field wasn't the same for all players.
