This game makes me sad now. Seeing as how we have completely forgotten what this game is based around. Not to be prejudiced but we think this is just a dogfight simulator with great graphics and a cool multiplayer. Did we really forget about the game 100 mile war the only part of ww2 fought on american soil (well ice (it was in Alaska)) or the problems faced by people on both sides as they had to make bunkers for themselves and hope they didn't get bombed. Have we really forgotten if you have please leave a reply yes or no. If you haven't I applaud you. And just so you know if i was in ww2 i would be hauled of to a concentration camp for being part German. I am Irish, Cherokee, Norwegian, British, German, Scotish, and Danish so yes my ancestors were on all sides of the war.

To be honest, I only come to this game to shoot planes and bomb hangars. I don't really care if I am flying Snoopys dog house or a WW2 plane. I am only here to cause Mayhem in a game and make the weak players leave the game, Its all part of the Misfits master plan to be Jerks. I am trying to get the monthly award for Jerk of the Month, I am behind in points. I hope these last couple of posts push me up in the Jerk rankings.

You say you would have been carted off to a Concentration Camp. That depends on where you lived to start out with. Little tip for you, you really need to read a lot to catch up with us old timers on War History.
Do Japanese Balloons loaded with incendiary bombs dropped on West Coast Forests count as a form of Warfare?
Give you props for having an interest in History, keep it up, so much to learn.
Look under Cool Threads and there is a thread about WW1 that War Hawk has started, good place for you to start. Think you will find it worth your time.

Ah yes. The true point of this game.

Wwi was a tough time. Back when an Airco D.h2 and a fokker triplane would fly head-first at each other, spraying bullets into each other's rotors from 200m away. Back when tanks would either line up and shoot down planes flying overhead, or tip over and fall irredeemably. Oh, the fierce battles that raged over the WWII era aircraft carriers circling tiny lakes. Oh, how the ground would tremble from the bombs dropped on the minute, insignificant airfields in the middle of s vast and barren wasteland devoid of humanity or meaningful tactical location. How the pilots would boast of their hundreds of kills in a single engagement as they parachuted down to the earth, taking four planes with them from their chute with their rifle. Back when bronies, metalheads, and gun rights activists used to argue the meaning of morals in war.

Oh yes we all forgot about the pilots moms or wife's making bacon sandwiches for lunch and the pilot saying gtg lunch time.and oh how being at work and on break must of been a pain in the rear .when the break was over .just imagine being in the middle of a battle and the boss yell back to work .poor guys probably never even got to finish that bacon sandwich.

Wait just a minute, I thought this was a WW1 game? I'm with you rabbit, I've been flying around in a sopwith camel or albatross!! How much does it cost to upgrade to a P51 or Messerschmidt? I could do some damage with a me 262!!

On a side note, I still have my old neighbors WW1 helmet that he gave me 40 years ago. I use to listen to the stories he told me about the war to end all wars and his buddy who was a pilot.

there were bi planes used in ww2 but they were better built than the things we fly with in this game also, the renault is a world war one tank which shows that this game indeed is WW1 based and.... It's a no brainer when you see the start screen because everyone knows about Manfred...
