It has something to do with Algebra. (according to my son)
I guess there weren't enough spaces put into the game when zup made it, so in order to fix this, he used the algebraic equation to rectify the scoring issue.
But, HULK NOT SO SMART, maybe someone else has a better answer.

normally, large numbers are displayed using 'e' as the exponent of 10 to apply to the number displayed. its a way for computers to fit great big numbers into a finite space. in this case the actual number would normally be 1264137 x 10^7. however, i don't know why the 5 is there or what that does to the formula. maybe 5 is the multiplier instead of the typical 10? that would make 1264137 x 5^7 or 98,760,703,125 points.

Close Airwolf. When you see 5E^7 it means 5x 10^7 e.g. 50,000,000. This number is not important to your ranking once you are at MORAF, but it's just the second number that shows the points needed to level up (which isn't relevant when you are already lvl 31). In the past the limit was 5 million points (5E^6), and Zup upped it because a few players had reached it and it made the rankings go out of order.
