I really enjoy the new capture the flag mission, as long as its a quick one. As such, I felt the need to share the requirements for victory as I have noticed most noobs and even some seasoned players seem confused.

A player wishing to "capture" the enemy flag MUST do so by picking up the enemy flag with plane, tank, or trooper and putting it on yellow magic spot at his/her base while his/her flag is still there. BOTH enemy and friendly flag must be at yellow magic spot at the SAME time for game to be won. If you drive through empty yellow magic spot with enemy flag, nothing will happen.(see pic) if you fly through friendly flag while on yellow magic spot nothing happens(see pic)

so, if GHOSTRIDER1 has the flag and is hiding, he is waiting for a teammate to return friendly flag to yellow magic place returned, simply by flying through or crashing into it, so that he may "capture" enemy flag. Please refrain from encouraging him to fly flag through EMPTY yellow magic place, insisting that it will result in a win. Especially, if you are sitting on your ass doing absolutely nothing but running your mouth. This means you plub!

See? I am on an empty yellow magic place with enemy flag. the game did not end. Again you MUST have BOTH flags on magic yellow place at the SAME time to win.

I also really enjoy the Capture the flag missions.

I have noticed that as I have carried the opponent's flag, I could also return my team's flag by flying/rolling through it. But as Dognammit so eloquently pointed out, his team should be trying to get their flag back so he can capture the flag and the team can win the game...

With this being said, I have also experienced a couple of times when returning my team flag proves difficult without the assistance of an opponent. There have been a couple instances where my team flag was removed only to be dropped a short distance away. Then I was unable to return the flag with either plane or tank. The only solution that seemed to work was when an opponent picked it up and I shot him//her down then I was able to return the flag... you can understand the danger in this situation, I'm sure.

Additionally, I have had more than one instance of picking up the enemy flag and flying through my own flag while it was where it should be for the victory only to have the enemy flag reset back to the red base as if I hadn't captured it at all. Anyone else ever experience this?

Aside from that and when a flag winds up inside a building I enjoy the capture the flag games as well. They are usually short and full of action.

I have had this happen, I think it is a glich. but it hasn't happened to me since mission first was released

I have had this happen. however, I have the solution, or atleast it hasn't failed yet. when I have seen this happen is when a tank or a trooper has been the one to drop the flag and it takes another trooper or tank to pick it up.

las time an enemy tank dropped a flag and I couldn't grab it, neither could my noob. I then shot my noob and told him to tank, and drive over the flag. it did the trick.

I guess what im saying is; if an enemy tank drops a flag, you need a friendly tank to pick it up, and so on. but only about half the time

This mission is filled with glitches.

I was in a game yesterday and a red flew through the flag but the flag was still there, however he saw the flag behind himself.

Eventually he had to drop the flag, then pick it back up for it to register.
