No need to let a 13 year old ruin your day, nor me when I say "Hey guys, give the kid a break"
Your comment "I wish the world would quit trying to make every kids life easier..." is pretty f*ucked up from what I see in this world. Maybe you don't see many kids, maybe you don't really need to bother with them. I see them in the foster program, in the courts and in the streets. I see 12 and 13 year olds selling stolen weed to get food here in the USA. I see cops who bust them and call them the future of crime while after school programs become nonexistant. Maybe I'm just too close.
Yeah the disrespectful entitled kids need some schooling but there are many others who just need someone to give a rats ass. Just because a kid has access to this game does not mean that they came from affluence. Heck, homeless have WiFi now. Go to a shelter and see how many have some sort of digital device. Lots of disadvantaged kids lurk in online games. I introduced one to dogfight.
I'm not saying to let them team kill you, I'm just saying to give the kids a break. Kind words don't cost anything and they can make a bigger difference than you may ever see. A real clue here: the ones who seem unstable probably are. What does it cost you to have patience with them? $1.99 / month?
The point I was trying to make was, I don't ask (or care) how old someone in the game or forum is. If you are disrespectful to someone, expect to be treated the same way. 13, 31, 81, (remember that rats ass) I don't care how old or young you are. I don't need anyone kissing my hind end, but I won't put up with anyone dissing me, or anyone else for that matter. Expect some backlash when acting up. Here or in the real world. I have no problem helping a noob in this game. When one shows up cursing or acting a fool, I help them learn how to parachute and take off again. Call it tough love, or lesson learned, it makes no difference to me. It is very simple, I haven't written this in a while, This is my sandbox, don't crap in it.
