Well i wake up at 5 am, take a quick poop and then i put on my DEPENDS, now i can play for half the day in my chair.

Then i put the pot of coffee next to my chair with 3 cans of ENSURE. Now i dont have to stand up until about noon.

If we'd left our foster daughter to spend another winter in an uninsulated attic above the garage of a bunch of tweekers she would have gotten harder and better able to stand up for herself?

Cat knows some street kids who's parents turned them out this winter. It sounds like it may be a good thing that the foster program is being defunded. There some homeless people who are helping to teach them how to live on the streets, a kind of Fagan for aspiring Artful Dodgers. Yea, let's let those kids learn by hard knocks. They will be so much easier to ignore and write off when they are old enough to throw away later.

Isis loves this kind of thinking, these are some of the easiest kind of people for them to recruit. But then they may just come out alright on their own. Let's just sit back and watch.

Mac , what Hulk is talking about is children that grow up in what we call normal families in todays society not abandoned or underprivalaged children who are at the mercy of what ever life hands them . We are also seeing in Australia a generation of kids that are very dsrespectful to thier elders and have no appretiation for what they are given . Teachers are not allowed to discipline the child at school and parents are not allowed to discipline the child at home . Hence we have a generation who are basically out of control. As a child I recieved several kicks up the bum for minor things from my parents , like setting the cat on fire or putting fireworks up the ducks ass and as I look back on it I deserved it . If I didnt do my homework or I grabbed little Mary by the pigtails and swung her around durring recess time at school the teacher promptly gave me a whack on the knuckles with a cane . This also was deserved and never hurt me as I look back on it . I learnt to stand up in a bus and let a lady have my seat . I learnt to open doors for others . I learnt to say please and thank you . I also learnt to listen to my elders . This is what I think Mac, old and wise Hulky , was referring to.

You're right about a lot of kids. The disrespectful "manchild" is a known epidemic these days. I have a counselor friend who makes a business of teaching parents about tough love. Many parents feel that they don't have the tools to kick a kid into line in the modern world but it can be done, it just takes a new skill set that most did not grow up with.

My friend is a particularly good counselor because he was once one of the highest ranked players in World of warcraft. He gets a lot of cred from the kids and has a lot of good in site for the parents.

The point I was trying to make was, I don't ask (or care) how old someone in the game or forum is. If you are disrespectful to someone, expect to be treated the same way. 13, 31, 81, (remember that rats ass) I don't care how old or young you are. I don't need anyone kissing my hind end, but I won't put up with anyone dissing me, or anyone else for that matter. Expect some backlash when acting up. Here or in the real world. I have no problem helping a noob in this game. When one shows up cursing or acting a fool, I help them learn how to parachute and take off again.
