Would it be to much to ask to not overload the Forum with Pointless Threads that have absolutely nothing to do with this game. Granted we have Squad, Entertainment, War, Hobbies, Artists. Links to YouTube etc.
Maybe they don't appeal to everyone but they do garner a few Thank you hits.
Maybe we need some sort of a Moderator for the Forum to unclutter it.
I am not a computer techy but with all this clutter could it take away from our game servers space? Maybe this causes the odd bit of lag we all so much love to play with.
I know at least five players that will write back and say this is a Pointless Thread but I get a feeling the few who also bother to read it might agree with some of it.
I have been physically unable to play as much the past few weeks and have spent to much time on the Forum.
What we all need to do is try and play a bit more, maybe that would clean it up a little.

Just kidding, as I do agree with you about pointless threads. At least keep it game related for the most part, rather than rants, or just random posts to fulfill either a narcissistic need, or needing attention due to lack of self-esteem.

I thought " Tell us who you are, what you like and why you became a Dogfight pilot" meant just that.
If it weighs down the game, you guys should just keep it game related ( ), if not maybe there should be a different category for non game related nonsence. Personally, in my narcisistic view, I just lóve to vent my self important opinions about anything....like thís, yet another unnessecary post.

Pointless thread is unwanted for but it has nothing to do with lag as Game Server(s) are different than that of Forum Server(s).

To moderate the thread is difficult job as it may raise differences amongst the members. To some members a post may be pointless but to others it may not be the case.

But posting can be controlled by starting the quota system as per member's forum rank like:

Fresh Boarders=====> New Post per day=1, ====> reply to Thread=3
Senior Boarder=====> New Post per day=1, ====> reply to Thread=6
Gold Boarder ======> New Post per day=2, ====> reply to Thread=12
Platinum Boarders ==> New Post per day=4, ====> reply to Thread=24
Squad Moderators ==> New Post & Reply per day=====>Unlimited

It's a very difficult issue to deal with but with a couple of pm's that I received I am a lot more wiser than I was 8 hours ago. Thanks everyone for your time, for at least trying to understand my Nutty views. I'll just blame the Meds and lack of sleep.
