What's worse are the oldies that switch names, or create new profiles just to harass others.

Too bad we don't have moderators that can deal with them immediately, also log their IP can find out what other accounts they have then ban them.

Please, don't generalise the thing.

I created a second account AND change my ingame nickname. The problem is the lack of manners of certain players... The only solution is to ignore these jerks.

I change names to go along with the season and so that others won't immediately leave a game if monster cannon is red

Pretty sure that the point EAGLE was making was that there are some that will harass people here, get banned or kicked, then create a new account with a different name for the purpose of continuing the harassment...

Unless, of course, YOU Pedrinho, are one of those people that has created a separate account just for the purpose of trolling, I'm pretty sure that changing names temporarily doesn't apply...

I don't change my nick temporarily. I change it once every 31 levels.
(edit: in some rare circumstances, I used to change my nick sometimes, but always told people that it was me).

And I don't need to change nick to troll people: I troll people with no masks, no covers.

What happened to your team mate is really sad, and I have been very vocal about this type of hurtful language. No one deserves it; we all come here to play, have fun with friends and release stress. I understand the frustrations that some players might get when you get mad in a game, still wrong to insult. In this case there was no frustration it was just purely a mean spirited and uncalled for insult. Again very sad that we have people like that here. I think if you are truly searching to put an end to this kind of behavior, we should all do it together, as a community. It is great to see the support that your teammate gets form his squad mates, and nice to reach out to the rest of the community to look for support. But this support has to be equal too every member of this community if we are seeking for respect, it has to be for all. We all have to speak up against this kind of behavior. This has happened to me personally in a lot of games and situations and I have got support from many players, but a few stay silent and as you say it is wrong, and if it’s wrong for the Misfits it has to be wrong for all the DF community. If you have the names of this players you should post them so that they try to rectify their error and see the shame they cause to themselves. As for your team mate I know how hard things are for him, and if he does need a break he should take it. He doesn’t need more stress in his life. But you as teammates and friends, should reach out to him and keep communication with him, he need people to talk to him and help him out. The game is a distraction but true friends are the ones that get you thru hard times. Hope everything works out and that people understand that he is a true warrior for the work he is doing. Thank you ag you said it better that I can .we must as a community stand together .this is not.just about a a squad mate of a good friend .it's about all that play this game .there are to many nasty disgusting people around . This is not about droppers or head on fighters or whatever game play one chooses.this is about everyone that cares in Df .we may be red we may be blue we may have different opinions on thing but Df is a community therefore family.and things like this should be handled by the Df family .for as long as I have been here this has always been the way .

it has been the position of gunners inc for quite a while now that we are people first and video game players second. i will stand united with any and all squadrons that are willing to uphold standards of decency. we don't need police, the golden rule will work just fine. the way a player behaves in our community will determine their employment status. i got many on my 'do not rehire' list.

Punk is a great person for doing what he does. Mad has every right to be outraged as do all of us.

This is one Wolf who stands with you. There should be zero tolerance for that type of behavior.

Sorry if you guys misunderstood what I meant, I should have been more clear.

I didn't mean EVERYONE that changes names or has another profile does this, but there are those that clearly do change just to play dirty, harass, etc. I have seen a few MORAFs in games with an unknown name playing dirty, etc.

Also, I'm sure there are some that create profiles just to cause trouble, but then act nice in their well-known profile. Just like someone suggested MORON21 is actually someone we all know, just flying under a different profile.

But when it comes down to it, nobody should be on here causing trouble, especially insulting another player's family.
