SO I WAS READING AN ARTICLE ABOUT HOW USA MILITARY PLANNING TO REPLACE CURRENT BOMBERS. HERE IS A QUOTE FROM ARTICLE.

"The new bomber is a high Air Force priority because the oldest ones in its fleet the venerable B-52s have far outlived their expected service life and even the newest the B-2 stealth bombers having been flying for more than two decades. A third bomber, the B-1, is used heavily for conventional strikes, but no longer is certified for nuclear missions."

B-52 ACCORDING TO THE ARTICLE YOUR DECENDANTS WILL BE ARMED WITH NUCLEAR MISSILES AND POSSIBLE UNMANNED AIRCRAFT. ARTICLE SAID USA PLANNING ON SPENDING $55BILLION ON DEVELOPING NEW BOMBER.

FOR MORE INFO YOU CAN ALL GOOGLE IT.

Well of course there replacing it why would they have a bomber that was in the Vietnam war and replace it with a b-2 and newer bombers
Reason the B-2 uses stealth technology and can drop bombs without being spotted
The B-52 is way bigger and has a rudder to yaw the B-2 uses the engine to yaw (reason why its better is because nobody can shoot out the rudder when your going back to base and trying to land) and the B-52 is so old
Or they can remodel it to where its alot bigger like the size of the agion in ace combat 6 (its a flying aircraft carrier and can shoot cruise missiles) but yeah I have a friend who's dad was in the air force and flew a b-52 and said he would like to stay in the air force so he can fly the b-2

Lol! The B-2 doesn't have a rudder for it's stealth capabilities. Has nothing to do with "getting its rudder shot out as it's trying to land". It's also amazingly expensive.

The B-52 performed extremely well at doing the job it was designed to do, but it's a 60 year old platform, so I'm honestly surprised this didn't come up sooner.

His uncle told him that, therefore it must be true. Considering I am trained and have worked in airframe structural limits (logs and records) as well as various other aspects of aircraft component tracking and flight hour documentation. I better keep myself out of this thread.

Its all about the thrusters so the tail doesn't get shot off during landings. You know that's when those B-52's are most vulnerable and the Chinese know it. I saw a Chinese restaurant close to an airstrip once. They are undoubtedly targeting rudder systems with chicken broccoli or peking duck.

Yep, you better stay out of it, because your experience doesn't trump his "facts".

By the way, that's just funny no matter who you are. LMAO I won't be able to enjoy peking duck again without thinking about B-52 bombers.

I have played many games with B52, I will miss him. I am not sure how we will replace him, I hope the new guy is as funny as him. He always cracks me up.

Well, although she was the awesome, she was bound to be replaced by a newer model.
