Sorry guys. despite many attempts to fix the issue, I still can't chat - keyboard disappears as soon as I try to type.

Not sure if this helps Spring but something similar happed to me. I had to delete and reinstall. It worked for me so not sure if it will help you

if your on android download the google keyboard and go to settings and switch to that keyboard it happened to me too this is the fix
