Daveys post in the other thread got me thinking about big monitors
What's the biggest screen you guys have played dogfight on, and did it make you any better at it?

I've done most of my playing on my 10" Kindle Fire HD but it doesn't seem to work as well as it once did. I've been playing here and there on my Galaxy s4 phone and the difference do my 45 year old eyes is huge. (Or tiny). Aiming is mostly guess work until closing about half the distance, much harder for me on the smaller device.

I played on a 60 inch TV. Made long range sniping realy easy. The problem was my arms would get tired from tilting it, so I had to give it up when my rotator cuff injury flared up.

My foster daughter works at the local movie theater and occasionally hosts gaming parties where they use Xboxes and PlayStations on the big screen! Hmmm... There is still a drive in movie theater in a nearby town... :woohoo:

On second thought, I play on tilt controls. :(

Then..............she giggled.............

......politely, of course.
The magnifying glass came out, and I quote her soft words,

"Oh! My! Mister President! Is this your 'Little Put-in?"

Sorry, DAVY,

YOU "rushed-in" to get votes..

I tried on the 60" TV using my phone with a HDMI cable, it was harder I though, and didn't help. not sure if it's lag between my actions and what I see on the screen?

nah really did using a phone to HDMI cable, it was harder I though, and didn't help. not sure if it's lag between my actions and what I see on the screen?

I did the same once with an app "project my screen" and connected my phone to the laptop. It was a total mess. Just like you said, there was lag b/w actions on phone and on screen. Each and every 'turn' was delayed by 2-3 seconds on the big screen. Didn't help in anyway.
Edit: Plus, very low resolution on PC while using Project my screen app. Might me because of my 5 year old PC.
