Curl scripts are the answer I started one ages ago for Enigma stats, but lost interest when it got harder than my skills could get me.

Curl let's you request either the top 100 or ANY pilots stats. I got that far but parsing was hard work for a slacker like me. I'm sure some kid could write it up in an hour.

Good knowledge of Microsoft is must for what I'm doing. The main problem I face is members keep on changing their name for which I have to trace the old name as well as new name. It takes sometimes 1-2 hrs just to make sure that the new name and old name are of the same person.

Top 100 players are frequent flyers and stats changed everyday and so do the ranking. Take an example of pilots ranking between 30-60 as the maximum shifting is either in between these rank or between 90-100 ranks. Now if any 3-4 players changed name and their new rank difference is 2-3 only that it becomes more difficult.

These comparison takes time, the rest preparation takes only 1-2 hr and another 1 hr for uploading files. You have to complete the job in one stretch as any error will give wrong information. recently I missed the GAW stats just because of overwriting with other players stats as the other player changed his name.

If there is any solution or thread where one post the old name and new name, it would be much easier for me to make the sheets.

But I still love to do it and with members encouragement I will continue it.
