You should try to knock on the door and see if someone is home. If they are ask them if you can have your flag back.

Aaahhh....jk.

It happened once in a game with me. Someone got it out and tell you the truth I am not 100% postitive how but I think you have to get it out as the man. I believe if you are the man you can enter from the door or somewhere around the building.
