There is no such game as bomb the base then what the hell have I been playing all these years . I was carrying bombs for no reason wth . I could of dropped them and gotten all kinds of cheap kills

And by the way I see more and more pc guys becoming good at head on fighting .so it can be done just takes some patients to learn how .as for 100 kills or more those game go for an hour or more that's how you get those scores.

Just wanted to set the record straight my sensitivity if maxed out, I don't fly with it so low I can't turn fight it's just the device that I play on isn't good at all for dogfighting only straight shooting.

Besides isn't it easier to say btb rather then (tftdeafw) the first to destroy enemies airfield wins?

I seriously wish I had the time and energy I used to to play this game. I would make you my personal guest of honor. You know, you're lucky the original Falcons aren't around much. They wouldn't tolerate your ignorance or insolence. It is amazing how one post can increase the desire to pin a jackass to the runway. Oh well, I'm sure someone else is already having an even deeper desire to do so.

No your mistaken bud. He just summed up what us original falcons would do. We would fight our battles how we pleased. We did not spawn kill but we would push the opposing team all the way to there base and hold them there pinned up in a consent dogfighting fur ball and then every now and then one of us would get in and drop a bomb on a hanger while the reds were franticly trying to clear the dogfighters out.

The way we have always seen it is that the game is a big battle field that you can change and alter how you like. We do not care if our pilots specialize in head on or turn fighting or the art of tricking the enemy to think you are in one place and not the other so you can get around and bomb the crap out of there hangers with out facing any opposition. Strategy is the name of the game. Almost anything goes.

Carrying a bomb and going head on is fine but I am not going to whine and cry when some one drops and goes in as a fighter or when some climbs up high and sneaks around the edges. What I am going to do is stay alert and kick there ass.

Sorry weather man we tolerate everything Heroicz just wrote. What we don’t tolerate is stupidity and whiny basterds. We shoot them down. Actually we personally target them to make there life hell.

Main reason I stuck around because when I tried to head home to my base I had rounds flying at my back. Nothing wrong with defending my self. People crying about me defending my self and heck I will just get cozy and hang around and shoot the crap out of them. Planes are so big now compared to what they used to be its impossible to miss unless you shoot between the wings.

........ I sit here trying to figure out how to explain the game to someone who obviously doesn't comprehend the task at hand. Yes you can fly around without a bomb, but they are under your plane for a reason. To drop on hangars. I'm sure I could take my device and lower the sensitivity, but mine is maxed out. I dare you to try and use a tilt device, any of them. Then tell me how easy it is to straight shoot. Is everyone on a phone or tablet a marksman? I think not. I don't whine about a player dropping, it makes me laugh though when they leave shortly after I drop and play their game. Looking for easy kills? Not here. I don't only fight straight up the middle, but it is the quickest route to the hangars (which I need to bomb to win). The idea is to "Destroy the base", right? So the fastest, most efficient way is to fly straight there and bomb. It is a really simple concept, I don't try to make the game last longer to pad my stats, nor do I fly around with no bomb to rape noobs by having an advantage. I carry 2 bombs flying slowly across the map, so even a noob can shoot me down. I have no advantage besides having more ammo. There is nothing better than watching all the Reds drop and fly all the way over and realize none of them have bombs to take out the hangars, classic teamwork.

When someone goes and starts berating someone for doing something that is not against the rules, who is creating the problem?

Too bad some squads don't hold the position that whining is dishonorable. It seems to me that a squad that wanted to maintain an "honorable" reputation should find it shameful to have a whiner on their squad. Very few self-respecting teams in real world situations would tolerate such an embarrassment.

That is the best suggestion I have ever heard. Gets really annoying when people cry about little things. Von hulk I understand what you mean by taking bombs and going up the middle is the quickest way to end a game but I disagree. The quickest way to end a game is to have a mix of pilots. Some that go down the middle, some that climb high and go around the edges to sneak and some that drop there bomb and wreak havoc. The games that are set up like that seem to end before anyone gets 30 kills or more. All these games were people just go head to head in a constant onslaught seem to last for ever. Its been a while since I played. I just started back up today though. When I last played possibly a year ago the games that seemed to last forever and end three hours latter with several of the big aces in the game scoring around 100 to 350 kills were head on games. I and many other people do not have the time to play for that long.

I don’t care what style people use to play I am just sick of people crying when you do something other than go up the middle. In my opinion games would go much faster if people used a multitude of tactics in a game rather than just mastering one of them. When I am in a game I am going to do the tactic that looks most profitable. I am going to adapt. If there is one guy on the other team going head on and is in the groove killing every one like rambo, I am going to do something to trip up that streak. If it means sneaking around and bombing some hangers or dropping your bombs and forcing him into a up close turn fight to over whelm him and let your comrades by I am going to do it. If I have several team mates sneaking around the edge of the map I am going to drop my bomb and force the enemy team into a massive turn fight so they are paying more attention to me than the absence of my team members going up the straight. If they drop there bombs and are all focused on me I might not even try to kill them so none of them are spawning at the base to see the guys sneaking around and diving on the hangers.

There are hundreds of things you can do to end a game faster than going straight up the middle with a bomb. There is hardly any team work in flying straight up the middle with a bomb unless your running certain formations. There are ways to do it and just destroy every one and that is fine. But if its not working that way or if its slow going you need to change things up and try something different.

Sadly to the majority of the dogfight community everything but carrying a bomb and going up the middle is considered a honorable tactic. The majority of that majority seems to be a bunch of cry babies when something other than going up the middle with bombs is used.

You do anything other than go up the middle with your bombs and you get called all sorts of stupid things. They start ranting about how unskilled you are even though they can’t seem to be able to kill you other than that lucky shot hear and there. The whine about how dishonorable you are and how its sad to see the day that a MORAF decide to go around the edge and bomb the hangers and then shoot everyone down so that your team mate was able to get in and bomb a few more hangers. Then they just sat there on the runway whining and crying about it when I had not even got close to spawnkilling any of them. From there on out It was pretty easy to end the game because none of them would take off.

In my opinion spawnkilling and whining like McFate has just pointed out are and should be the only dishonorable things in this game. It really pissees me off when he pilots just sit on the runway and cry about me using a different tactic than going straight up the middle guns blazing. In my opinion they should stop whining and do something about like shoot me down. Thats the way you should solve all your problems in dogfight. Shoot the guy down that is causing your trouble. Crying about it is pointless. It does nothing other than make you a bigger target.

Its almost shame full to return to this game and see how crappy the player base and community has become. When I first started playing the game spawnkilling was widely accepted. It took a year in a half before people even started complaining about it. Now people complain about everything. Everything is bad now. First it was spawnkilling [the one thing that I will agree with is bad] Even after spawnkilling was considered bad it took a long time before people considered every bit of it as bad. There was loop holes. If you were coming in to bomb then it was ok to shoot them on the runway to just survive long enough to make it in to bomb a hanger. It was also ok if you had a team mate coming in behind you to bomb. You could shoot people on the runway until your team mate bombed then you would try to leave or you could hang around and dogfight the reds once they took off and had been in the air for 3 to 5 seconds. [3 to 5 seconds is the time it takes for your aircraft to get to a fast enough speed to dogfight and potentially kill every one around the base depending on how determined you were.] Now its bad to dogfight over the reds base. [Nothing about dogfight over the reds base that is unfair. Once your up and at full speed you are fully capable of taking out any plane over your base.] Its bad to go around the edges of the map or go high and drop your bombs on the enemy base. [Nothing un fair about that as well. Any skilled pilot or any pilot who uses his brain should be able to notice another pilots absence and know that that pilot is sneaking around and that you need to get back to base and wait for them to show up. Its easily counterd and it also removes a pilot from the middle of field for a moment giving you time and more space to get in and drop a bomb on the reds hangers. sneaking and climbing above the playing field takes a lot of time. There is no excuse for not noticing the absence of a player. Plubus has masters the art of sneaking. He makes you think he is not even a threat and that he’s is just sitting on the runway and then bam you bombs you] Lets see what else is considered bad. People dropping there bombs and dogfighting up the center is considered bad. It also can be countered Drop your bomb and shoot him down. If you really are a skilled pilot then it should be no trouble to shoot him down over and over and chase him off. Most droppers I have seen leave when they just get killed over and over again. Should not be a problem with that unless you are unskilled at turn fighting or if you are to stubborn to drop your bomb then you might be in trouble. Even then you take a dropper down by not dropping your bombs. All you need is a wing man and a bit of knowledge on how to do the thatch and weave. A dropper can only be on one pilots tail at a time. If there are two of you with bombs he is out matched if you stay smart about it.

Anyway my point is that people need to complain less about people using multiple tactics. They need spare the effort of complaining and take an action against the tactics that are being used against them. No one gets anywhere in life by complaining. What gets people some were is by them taking an action. Complaining is just going to make the situation worse for you unless the guy your complaining about is extremely self couscous and will do anything anyone tells him. The way I see it is that in life you don’t get a job or make money by complaining how poor you are but you get your good high paying job by taking an action to get it. Now this whole post right hear is a big thing of me ranting and complaining but it seems that in this case it is the appropriate action to bring to the dogfight communities attention the worthlessness of what seems like the majority of the players. What it looks like to me is that they are trying to hide their laziness to counter a tactic by saying its dishonorable and unfair. Its really simple to counter most tactics. Spawnkilling is the most potent tactic this game has ever seen but it has a simple way to counter it as well. There was a point were so many people actually knew how to counter it that being a spawnkiller was the hardest thing you could do in the game. For some one to spawnkill they had to fight there way all the way to reds base, then they had the struggle of shooting every plane that was trying to take off. Which could be hard because multiple planes trying take off at every second and you can only turn around so fast and shoot so fast. Eventually one gets up in the air and engages you, then they all get up and engage you. At that point the spawnkiller is not spawn killing but he is turn fighting against possibly 4 or more aircraft. The fight at that point is not in the favor of the spawnkiller. If the spawnkiller mangoes to shoot them all down again and go back to spawnkilling them then you have to admit the spawnkiller was an expert pilot or a very skilled one at the very least. They had to be extremely skilled to pull off spawnkilling an entire base of enemies when people found out they could hold there breaks and the spawnkiller could not damage them. They also could hold the break and throttle up. As soon as the spawn killer was out of position to shoot them and release the breaks and take off very quickly. From there they are up in the air. They can drop there bomb and engage the spawn killer. Now the term spawn killer seems to apply to anyone who kills a player near his base even if he has been up in the air has dropped his bombs and can use the full capabilities of the aircraft. The real actual definition of spawnkilling is when you shoot an aircraft running down the runway or one that had just spawned into the game.

Anyway that is my rant for the day. Hopefully when I see you guys in the air you will be men and women of action rather than men and women of the nursery hiding in your baby crib. Life out side the walls of a baby crib is much more fun and free.

That is the best suggestion I have ever heard. Gets really annoying when people cry about little things. Von hulk I understand what you mean by taking bombs and going up the middle is the quickest way to end a game but I disagree. The quickest way to end a game is to have a mix of pilots. Some that go down the middle, some that climb high and go around the edges to sneak and some that drop there bomb and wreak havoc. The games that are set up like that seem to end before anyone gets 30 kills or more. All these games were people just go head to head in a constant onslaught seem to last for ever. Its been a while since I played. I just started back up today though. When I last played possibly a year ago the games that seemed to last forever and end three hours latter with several of the big aces in the game scoring around 100 to 350 kills were head on games. I and many other people do not have the time to play for that long.

I don’t care what style people use to play I am just sick of people crying when you do something other than go up the middle. In my opinion games would go much faster if people used a multitude of tactics in a game rather than just mastering one of them. When I am in a game I am going to do the tactic that looks most profitable. I am going to adapt. If there is one guy on the other team going head on and is in the groove killing every one like rambo, I am going to do something to trip up that streak. If it means sneaking around and bombing some hangers or dropping your bombs and forcing him into a up close turn fight to over whelm him and let your comrades by I am going to do it. If I have several team mates sneaking around the edge of the map I am going to drop my bomb and force the enemy team into a massive turn fight so they are paying more attention to me than the absence of my team members going up the straight. If they drop there bombs and are all focused on me I might not even try to kill them so none of them are spawning at the base to see the guys sneaking around and diving on the hangers.

There are hundreds of things you can do to end a game faster than going straight up the middle with a bomb. There is hardly any team work in flying straight up the middle with a bomb unless your running certain formations. There are ways to do it and just destroy every one and that is fine. But if its not working that way or if its slow going you need to change things up and try something different.

Sadly to the majority of the dogfight community everything but carrying a bomb and going up the middle is considered a honorable tactic. The majority of that majority seems to be a bunch of cry babies when something other than going up the middle with bombs is used.

You do anything other than go up the middle with your bombs and you get called all sorts of stupid things. They start ranting about how unskilled you are even though they can’t seem to be able to kill you other than that lucky shot hear and there. The whine about how dishonorable you are and how its sad to see the day that a MORAF decide to go around the edge and bomb the hangers and then shoot everyone down so that your team mate was able to get in and bomb a few more hangers. Then they just sat there on the runway whining and crying about it when I had not even got close to spawnkilling any of them. From there on out It was pretty easy to end the game because none of them would take off.

In my opinion spawnkilling and whining like McFate has just pointed out are and should be the only dishonorable things in this game. It really pissees me off when he pilots just sit on the runway and cry about me using a different tactic than going straight up the middle guns blazing. In my opinion they should stop whining and do something about like shoot me down. Thats the way you should solve all your problems in dogfight. Shoot the guy down that is causing your trouble. Crying about it is pointless. It does nothing other than make you a bigger target.

It's kind of like the "which came first, chicken or egg?" dilemma only we can track the origin here...sometimes. I doubt that anyone would have a problem with someone complaining about being team killed or spawn killed from a tank, but when someone is complaining about something that isn't against the rules and calls out others to hunt them down instead of just moving on to the next game, that is bashing and game ruining. Both are actually against the rules.

Sky was countering a false statement made about the founders of the Falcons and was supporting Hero's perspective on game play.He probably cut him some slack on the rant because it was directed at those who try to tell others how to play.

Moon. It does not take long to think of things. If you started playing the game back when I did when practically everything was not a problem anything could go, you would see these things just off the top of your head from experience. Now days so much stuff is considered bad and people are hounded out for doing things differently that the majority of the players have been taught or have conformed to the idea that head on with bombs is the only way, everything else is cheating. What you get when that happens is just a bunch of players that do one things. You then have no reason at all to even have to think of a way to counter many of the tactics I have mentioned. Chances are some one will call out a person if they try any of those tactics and usually when called out those players then conform to the rest of society. All you have to do to counter them is whine about it if you really think about. To me those reactions are just a second nature thing. Never really took much hard thought to figure them out. All you need is common sense the idea of how to shoot the gun and maneuver the plane. The rest is just you reacting to the situation at hand or getting sick of the same thing happening over and over.

To tell the truth I probably have less time to play this game and think about this game then most. I have played the game since it basically came out I used to be in the top 5 of the leader bored in the early days. If you look me up at |111th|SkyDavis in the game and look at my stats you can generally see I do not have that much time to play the game or think about it for that matter if you consider that I have been hear since the very beginning and that a good portion of the players that have been hear for only a year have 20 to 30 x my stats. If I really had the time I could probably easily march my way up to the top 50 in a few months. Getting to the top 10 would take a long time though considering how fare behind I am at the current. But really that is nothing I care about. All that matters is playing the game for a little fun.

I too have been in the dog fight community for quite sometime. All I was saying was WHO CARES ABOUT ANY OF IT! Whiners whine, tactics are tactics, why cant people just fly? It really is that simple, things will happen in a game, sometimes you may not like what is happening or vise versa others my not like what is happening. So creating topics to discuss what has been covered time and time is a waste. In fact Im wasting your time by responding (and mine I might add) so please can we just fly and leave the deep philosophical thoughts to the politicians! Its a game for petes sake!

Great idea moon. So when you see someone whining tell them to "stow it" and hit retry instead of calling out a hunt.

I'm pretty sure on another thread regarding the same topic I said I don't care how you play...I still don't...it's a tactic and if done right you can help win. But teammates that are going to continually drop over and over and do nothing else have to be of value if they're going to contribute to the win. Plus a real "tactician" will mix it up a bit...there is no surprise with most droppers...in fact it's pretty easy to combat because you know exactly what you're dealing with...then they realize they can't do what they want and leave...they'll probably tell you they "lost connection"...it's pretty simple and predictable...

We all know that any player fish flopping all over the place pretending to be tactical and never communicating intentions to the rest of the team is really not doing anything of value. Seems like stat padding...it really does...

Only a few have I seen using this tactic are really valuable...

I like all the complaining...it's fun.
