A glitch is not actually part of the game though, it's not intended to be part of the game, thus a glitch that pops up from time to time.

Zup has said to not do anything that would ruin the game for anyone else, this includes taking advantage of glitches, or spawn killing.

I agree with Eagle with 1 proviso : if both sides have the tank glitch, it becomes part of the game. However, the invisible anything is impossible, so is patently unfair and never acceptable under any circumstances.

The one thing I dislike about the game is the tiered planes. Newer people have the worst planes, which makes it really difficult to have a fair fight. Imo, it leads to people giving up. So, in that sense, I agree that zup didn't make this game fair.

Also limiting the game to four on each side makes newer people sitting ducks. So, when newer people drop or glitch against me, I tend to let it slide these days.

The side that had the Welsh coal miners used their "invisibility" glitch, planted mines, and won the war.

Did we hear the losing side afterwards complaining "Sie betrogen!!!!" ? (spoken with a bad accent, apologies to Rudolf )

Does anyone on the winning side say "Sorry, we cheated, we used a nuclear bomb, we should have let you win?"

Complaining is pointless.
In war you play the cards you get, to the best of your advantage (including the one up your sleeve)

The way I read it, the compound noun "war game" breaks down into two parts, with "war" being the noun adjunct or attributive noun, and the noun being described is "game".

I could be wrong, but the technical description as I see it is we play a game we don't fight a war.

This could be the crux of the argument. I will play df as if it is a game, not actual war. Everyone else can act however they see fit.

No one with any courage or honor would use ballistic missiles or drones. Cruise missiles are a little more fair as long as they fly above radar.

Then when they get out into the real world, people don't play fair, people use any advantages they can get. War, commerce, climbing the promotion ladder, personal relationships....

The real challenge in life is dealing with this, and still finding a way to win while sticking to the principals you think are important.

Unfair games like DF are an opportunity for them to learn this without getting too hurt.

There's no point in complaining to God / Zuperman.
He'll just say, "see that's what I've had to deal with all these years. Come on, lets just play another round together..."
