I see that the Glitches are ruining the game as some will use them and some will not.
Let all honourable play be kicked to the curb until all the game faults are resolved.
We never know till we all get Down and Dirty, how much fun we ALL might have for a change.
At least we wont be pointing fingers at the Glitch abusers. That in itself should cut the amount of clutter in the Forum that is getting very monotonous.
We could start the Blackest of the Blacklist thread, the one you want your name on.
Lets make the start to this as soon as you read this post. Only condition that when joining a new game let everyone know your mode of play to get everyone on board. I think even the cleanest of players want to be dirty sometimes.
Please feel free to post your opinions. I am very curious to see if this is a good idea or a real bad one.
Myself along with many others have been waiting for zuperman to solve the issues, seems like forever, so in the mean time I plan on using the Glitches.
If I see a lot negative responses I will go back to playing honourably again.
I hope the Misfits don't boot me out of the squad for this.

The problem that I see with this is not everybody has it at the same time. I've seen guys do it when I can't.

I hear you man and understand where you are coming from. Had a game last night where someone pulled the tank glitch against me. He is an experienced pilot and is very well aware of the tank glitch. I don't think he got any hangers but if he did it was one. Poor guy was trying to shoot from the trench plus I killed him eventually.

I don't innitiate any type of unfair play, unless there's something I did not knowingly. In that case I will apologize for my actions. If the reds do use any of these tactics then yes all gets thrown of the window and I will use whatever needs to be done.

That's what happened in this game. After the red team used the glitch now it was my turn. I took out the remaining 7 hangers in a matter of 1 minute.

Do we really need everyone glitching now? I personally do not agree with this. Not at all. You think it's bad now? Wait and see how the game will play should this be everyone's mentality. You will see everyone just trying to get the tank glitch and scrub the other game play such as bombing. Everyone will start flying bombless and try to make it to the enemy base with the only intention of glitching. I see enough of this aleady as it is now.

There's no better game in DF than one that is played completely clean. No cheap play whatsoever. Those are the ones I enjoy the most.

My answer here is: NO

Don't do it. You are a too good of a player already. Do you really need to take out extra hangers? Do you really need the win? Are you really concerned with your stats?

I sure as heck don't and am not. I play DF for fun. I have always liked video games since childhood and this game is pretty awesome with the exception of some details. Introducing more of this type of play will only make it worse.

That's just my take on this topic. Doesn't mean I am right or wrong. Nor does anyone have to agree with me.

Instead of saying how about we all use it now, I think it would be better if we all unite and say how can we rid it from DF. I am sure we can come up with many great ideas. I sure have a few.

On a serious note, I agree with Gunzzz, and Comet. But, if there was an alternative server, something you can choose to "enter at your own risk", maybe it would limit these type of shinanigans. Click HERE for chaos type stuff...

Yes, your right I will probably not play dirty. Just getting frustrated with how a good long game goes bad. You play over a hour, maybe two, one hanger each side, and Boom game ends and then you see what happened. zuperman fixes the tank glitch and things go back to Happy Land. I think we all have been waiting way to long.

Thing is: if everyone agrees on spawnkilling, for example, in a given mission, its ok. If everyone agrees on camping relentlessly, during a mission, its ok. If everyone agrees to turn a bombing mission into a free for all (teamkilling being allowed, to see who is the last one to remain in the end), its ok. But glitching is not something everyone can abuse, because not everybody has this option...

But, given the fact that people keep going in and out every minute, I don't believe this idea is feasible (at least not without many, many complains coming from those who enters the mission during the playtime).

If something is wrong then it's wrong !! I for one will not play dishonourably just because others do. I will not condone or condem they , everybody should play the way they want to play within the rules set by the creator (Zup). If they play dishonourably then they should be prepared to face any consequences that may arise.

That's why I typed Hmmmmmmm. On one hand for a player who has been looking for a great long battle, he will hate it. But for the guy looking for the quick game, he loves the idea. It would be hard to get everyone on the same page. I kind of go with the wind, either way. It's all just a game, I get points for winning or losing so whatever happens, happens. If the game ends quickly, I hit next game and play another. Sometimes if a game goes on to long, I pray for someone to end it. HULK NEEDS REST (I am old you know)

Zup has already said he wont do anymore work on df1..so this prob I cant see going away, also if he could do an enter at ur own risk game.which is fun,wouldnt that mean work on df1, in which case why not fix the original prob?...to new players seeing anything goes, its gonna be hard for them to fly with honour if they get used to this way of doing things....I feel ur pain Arth...lol..have fun
