Hi zup

Glad to see you are interested in knowing what's going on but i thought you already knew. It seems like all the regular things that have been coming up over and over again. Sometimes it seems to get better then bammm it goes downhill again. I'll try to list them all. I hope everyone else will add to whatever i may have missed:

By the way i play on an android device and i have the latest 4.4.92 update

- hits do not rigister on time. I can kill someone, or i should say they should have died and didn't, then they will finally die anywhere from 5 seconds up to 1 minute later.

- players do not die in airplanes after their 5th or 6th shot (whichever it's supposed to be..sometimes i can hit someone about 50 times without exaggeration)

- same with tanks this can take over 100 hits easily and multiple bombs

- after putting the shots on a plane they continue to live and can keep playing killing me and other planes as well as continue to bomb

- all these seems related i guess to the lag. Due to this there are times that i have absolutely no clue who is killing me or how they did it. There are times that i am chasing a plane and they end up killing me. How can that be?

- after all these hits these players are guaranteed to have a shot up windshield or even worse die multiple times at spawn. I've seen people die as much as 7 times at spawn because of these problems. It's worse when one dies in a tank. I know for sure i will end up with a shot up windshield at the least.

- even when i am in tank and i shell another tank sometimes that tank won't die. I have even hit one tank 4 times b4 it finally died

- spawning facing weird directions. Sometimes i am up against the hanger or i end up doing a funky flip as soon as i spawn. Crazy things at times.

- some players disappear then reappear constantly within a game.

- in ctc game sometimes my plane will not get repaired when i landed on the carrier

- controls can be unresponsive at times. I know sometimes my bullets won't fire or my bombs drop. I have ever heard a well know tanker complain how his turret wouldn't move properly.

- the tank glitch is still being used regularly on the bomb the hangers mission where the player can access tank too close on enemy base. Heck i can at least 75% of the times but chose not to...not like all players unfortunately

- same as the tank glitch on the bomb the carrier mission where a player tank on the carrier and ends up invisible then shells away on the carrier. Once again being abused by certain individuals

I think i got most of them. Heck if these alone got resolved the game would be so much better. I thought you knew all this stuff. With no disrepect sir if you didn't you should be around more often to get the current status of the games. Zup it's been going on for at least one month on a regular basis. Within a day of play i may get a decent game in and think that maybe things are better but then a few games later it always reverts back to all the problems again.

The invisiblity i think is gone for sure.

I know the word around was that you switched to new servers. Whether or not this is true i do not know but i can tell you that if you did they are of no help from what i can tell.

Maybe you should start a forum thread asking everyone to list the problems that they are experiencing. I believe many players are also experiencing problems with their accounts as well. I am not so i can not give you any input on this topic.

Please try do get these issues resolved once and for all if you can. I think many of us players support and appreciate everything you do with the game but at the same time we are running out of patience waiting for these problems to get better.

Thanks for listening. I know DF is a great game if things ran smoothly and you deserve much credit on creating one of the best games i may have ever played, but not when it's playing like this.

Another thing that i found out is that there is a certain app available that creates many of these problems i am guessing. I am scared to let the cat out of the bag. It may be better that i do not list the name of it here as many more may take advantage of it. Let me know if you need the name of this and if i should just post it here or if i should send it to you in private somehow.

This also leads me to believe that there are many other ways of cheating as well. One day a person on WC was asking everyone if they wanted DF cheat codes.

there is no DF cheat codes. You can post all DF cheat codes and that app that helps to do whatever you are saying. Publicly. Right here.

And where are you geographically located and what type of phone do you have? Because all problems you are listing seem from lag and a windows phone. It seems like you are playing on the wrong server for your location.

Also do you play on WiFi or mobile? Mobile networks add up to half a second of round trip delay, which is a killer in a multiplayer game.

Sorry to finally be posting a reply but i finally got some sleep from last night/this morning. I am glad that i brought this topic up because it exposes the problems and hopefully will resolve them.

I am going to supply you with everything that i know.

- as for the cheat codes i don't have one. As i mentioned some one came on WC asking if anyone wanted access to some cheat codes that work for df. I really wish i got that person's name now as i just blew them off thinking they were full of it (lying) and as i try to play w/o cheating had no interest in what they had to say.

- THERE IS A "LAG SWITCH" FOR SALE ON THE GOOGLE PLAY STORE. i can't tell you what it does but i have a feeling it may be the root to many of these lags problems. This is something you may really want to look into.


Here's my info:

- android tablet

- wifi connection (fiber optic connection)

- i live in the northeast United States and play 90% of my games in the East US server so i am in the correct server location being closest to me. (once in a while i will play in a different server but the problems are the same in all the servers. I do believe when i enter either Asia server that they are worse)

- version 4.4.92 (so i am up to date from what i understand)

- lights in the servers are usually green. Sometimes, often not, will they also be yellow.

Hope this helps. Please let me know what other info i can supply you with and i will be more than happy to do so.


And one more note is that I hope you understand is that it doesn't seem to be only me having the issues. It seems as the majority of players are experiencing the same problems. At least that's what I am hearing.

Ok here goes there are way to many people using apps aka hacks to cheart the game ie lag switches for pc players or speeding up your processor in your phone witch makes you out of sync with the game itself zup when you find these douche bags ban their butts for life there to many of them .it's pretty bad when guys don't want to apply themselves to the game and think cheating is ok

Right in brother Rabbit.

As I have mentioned b4 I am computer ignorant when it comes to all the ins and outs of the programming and finer details. With that said I don't know what can and can not be done. From what I see when someone gets banned the just simply create a new account and are back into action doing that same old.

If it's a possiblity one should be banned from their IP address this way they will hopefully be banned for good.

I'd love to see gimp tilt go away.

Again, sometimes, when I launch the game and go into multiplayer, my tilt control won't work. I loaf around, and can't fly. Have to reboot my phone, and it goes away.

Many of the things should be now fixed or much better. I've just upgraded East US server to a way faster connection.

Also for Windows Phone, an update was sent out to Microsoft that should fix those weird tilt control issues. It should be on store later today or tomorrow the latest.

Thanks for the new servers. I havent tried them yet but once i do i will fill you in on how the play is.

I am curious about this "lag switch" app. Do you know anything about it? Also is there anything that can be done to stop players from using it and gaining an unfair advantage if they are? The other thing on my mind with this switch is "could it have contributed at all to the lag that we are experiencing"?

you don't gain an unfair advantage using a lag switch. You just make your connection horribly slow, which makes kills delay both ways. it means you can also get killed 30 times in a roll before you even take off. So it is pretty stupid to do it.

And you don't need an app to do that. Just get your phone to download a 2 hours movie while you play. Your connection will suck. Your game will suck. Your kills will suck. Your deaths will suck. And you will look like an idiot doing it. And if the person doing it thinks that will help you gain an advantage, he needs to fix something in his head first.

this has started happening more frequently. I join a game and then everybody and chat disappears. Started this last weekend and thought it might be related to the server switch on the East coast, so started using West coast exclusively. Been working pretty well. Have to close the game out completely to start a new one, which is annoying but something I can deal with. Then today it's been difficult to get into a game at all. I wait 30 seconds before picking West coast, and sometimes it gets me a game, sometimes it doesn't. Tried East coast and immediately went invisible. So closed game and had to try West three times before I got a game. Five minutes into that game and everybody and chat disappeared.

Is it my phone?
