So often I read the words, " it's just a game." Is it? In reality I suppose it is. But stop and think about the Friendships you've made. The interaction with people from around the World that most of us refer to as " Brother" or "Sister". How many of us exchange phone calls, texts, etc.
"It's just a game." Over the years I've sent time in Chat Rooms or other Forums, but never seen anything that compares to the Community that exists here.

"It's just a game." Recent events in my life has shown me otherwise. Support, prayers, text messages, phone calls, emails, and even cards in the mail. All from Friends I have yet to meet. Sentiments from Members of this little World that didn't even know who I was. "It's just a game." You can tell yourself that all day long, but deep down, you know otherwise!
It's a game when we're trying to shoot each other down, but so much more when the last hangar gets bombed.

Truly grateful to be a part of this Community, truly grateful to know such a gathering of fine people from every corner of the Earth.

And, to be honest, its kind of a self-convincing mantra - cuz, heck, I need to be vigilant to avoid being addicted again. I have a life, you know, bills to pay, two girls to care, etc. But you are right... well, both of us are: I endorse every single word you wrote, and (see, its not a "BUT", its an "AND"!) I just add that... its just a game!

I appreciate the "And" Pedrinho! HAHAHA! Finding time to actually play is my problem. Do find myself in here as often as I can. Funny part is, I'll jump in the forum if I'm somewhere waiting. Wife always gives me the "Heavy Sighs and Rolling Eyes," BUT, try to get her off Facebook for a minute!

Dog Fight is more than just a game. It's intensity at the highest level.

I start the day of playing with the "shakes". You know where you can't get your aim on point and trying to steady your plane is a nightmare. At the end of the day I feel like I just came home from the gym. Yeah maybe it's because I am on the newer side but I put 100% of myself into DF whether it be trying the best I can to play or in conversation with others. I find myself meeting new fiends one minute and then the next adding another name to my hit list. So yeah it's very personal as well.

Bottom line is that we are there for eachother. Good or bad. With feelings like this to call it "just a game" would be silly.
