Ok, a bit of backstory. I joined dogfight some time in late 2010. I believe tKestral joined in mid 2012, give or take half a year. I used to play dogfight a lot and he became one of my best friends here on the forums. I haven't been active on the forums here for a couple years, maybe I darted in once or twice. But the forums have changed too much, they seemed a good deal less lively and everyone I knew prior seemed to have gone, so I didn't stay. In January of this year I built myself a nice PC (i5 4690k, GTX 970) and started playing a game that I like which has similar elements to dogfight. (I will not name it because I do no want Zup to zap this off the forums). I have played this game for quite some time. I was just flying yesterday, and I started saying something about Yaks or IL-2s. Suddenly, someone in the chat named tKestral said something like: "Qazfdsa, did you used to play a game called Dogfight?", "Your name is familiar". I said something like, "No way... Kestral...". After 2 years, somehow we happened to both have PCs, both like this game, both be online at the same time, both choose the same game mode, both use the same country of planes (Russia), both use the same tier of planes, both click play... At the same time. Now we are friends again. I guess Stalin aligned the stars

Lol you must be talking about warthunder. That game is hard to play without a joystick.

I guess I would be worried to, that is if there was a game that could compete with DOGFIGHT

as a player of both warthunder and dogfight i must say, warthunder is more realistic and has a better variety of vehicles and weaponry, but i still havent found a game EVER that can compete with the community on here!! to each game its due but dogfight will probably outlast warthunder on my interest list

Ghost my sentiments exactly.....I am seeking help for my dogfight addiction..the therapist has a plane on a stick..and i sit in a box making shooting noises at it...every week he gets further away until eventually he's in the room next door.The idea is it represents distance from the game..lol..it's all true my fish told me...
