hello all,


after arguing with one person and consulting with several others i now understand that i mishandled the situation with one my former pilots. in no way did i intend to present the opinion that an illegal act is no big deal, or that it is ok because others do it. that is contrary to the values i hold and i feel it necessary to apologize for how i said what i said. it led many to believe i did not appreciate the severity of the action in question.

i'd like to offer my apologies to Xtreme-1 for his or her negative experience due to the actions of a member of Gunners Inc.

i'd like to offer an apology to Zuperman for downplaying and being sarcastic about how many people get banned for tank spawn killing. i know that bans happen and often. i am sorry.

to Opus one, yes i will bake you a cake.

to Vivek, thanks for setting me straight.

and to anyone else that was affected in a negative way by my comments i hope forgiveness is possible. i do take this all seriously and i also believe this is a game that we should have fun playing.

i wrote this for my conscience and to offer a humble apology.

Even the most calmest of us will have a little emotional outburst. I had one the other day I feel bad about also.

Well done HB, it takes a better man to stand up and say when he thinks he may be hasty or whatever. Dont know what its about, but a good example set. And, no cake nessesary, lol!

You are one of the most respected member in forum. All good that ends good. But I feel it would be much nicer for forum members to forgive M! as he is good pilot. Sometimes one get carried away in doing which was realized later on. Miland we would like to see you back in action as before leaving this untoward incident behind. Hope you will reconsider your decision. We know that you have felt guilty about what you have done and that is more than sufficient.

And for you HB, I respect you a lot and it has increased many fold after your post. Please leave this incident behind and carry on your good work as before.

I'm clueless about what transpired.
I do know a few things about Horriblebreast though. He's a class act, a great eample for anyone striving to achieve greatness within the confines of DF. He is one who will go out of his way to help anyone in need of advice or guidance. HB stands up for the little guy and up to the big ones. He demands and deserves respect. He is a great leader,a respected Ally,and a formidable enemy during game time.
I don't want cake. I don't even want steak. I just want to shake the hand of a friend, who stepped up to his peers with a wish for forgiveness. That's class. That's Horriblebreast. That's what I know.

HB, like i said on the Extreme post your one my favorits and i hope you dont think that that has changed, probably more now due to this apology of yours. I have always believed you to be a guy that enjoys this game for the fun of it and not the crazy drama it at times can produce. Along with a guy with a breast issue of some sort.... that is apperantly horbible to a degree...

I admit i was a bit surprised by a couple of your post at first, really only because of the newness of the player making the complaint. I figured you were just keeping the fact that the game is a game and not to go nuts on a player, exspecialy one of your own. I know those are tough fences to jump, hate like hell to be put in a possision where you feel defence is exspected by the squad when it doesnt sit well with oneself. Been there done it got the t-shirt and hated every second of it.

What you did was the right thing for the most part, Extreme made a legit complaint and was only asking to be heard. He wasnt looking for a public flogging just calling a spade a spade and asking to be fair.... Alot of folks here could have simply let the matter disappear after time and give the guy some bs lip service how the issue would be handled. After all who would have remembered in a couple days right. Your squad is endebted to you for your actions, you preserve the honor and integrity of the honorable members by taking the actions you did and thus remaining the awesome squad you have become. Even though crow was on the menu (I know your a turky fan in a bit of an extreme manner with dressing them i doubt crow is a bird yould cloths).


My hats off to you HB, thanks for caring enough to do what you did here. Few would have and thats one the reasons i hold you as one my favorites.....
